Fvck The Haters
Accurate
It was dark out when I got home.
“Jake texted.” Mom said casually as I walked in. I sighed in response. “Sit.” She smiled.
I stared at my phone in silence as we sat at the kitchen table. “How was your day?” She tried.
“Fine.” I rolled my eyes.
“Check the attitude at the door.” She folded her arms. “Fine means the same thing it meant when I was your age.”
“I’m sorry.” I tried.
“You want me to leave you alone, I get it. You think I couldn’t possibly understand what you’re going through.” She continued.
“Accurate.” I agreed.
“You want to go to your room and listen to music without me butting in.” She smirked.
“Yep.” I sighed.
“By all means.” She waved her arm toward the staircase.
“Thank you.” I rolled my eyes and went to my room. After an hour of listening to the angriest music I could find as loud as my phone would play it, I drifted to sleep and awoke to a dark bedroom and screaming vocals.
Mom was downstairs reading; I sat next to her without a word. “Hey sleepy.” She said without looking up.
“Sorry for how I acted.” I said, staring at the floor.
“Don’t be.” She shrugged it off.
“I keep getting into these stupid fights.” I sighed.
“With the same person?” She kept reading.
“No.” I thought for a moment. “With everyone.”
“I find it little bit odd that everyone suddenly has a problem with you.” She looked over at me.
“Maybe it’s me.” I frowned.
“I think you’re finding out who you are.” She gave a look of reassurance. “It takes a while to get there.”
Poor Jinxx, his life is spiralling out of control. Glad you updated :)
