Fvck The Haters

“Abso-fxckin-lutely.” Lauren teased. “That fight was badass by the way.”

When we got outside Hannah and Jake were making out and leaning against Hannah’s car.
“Wow, awkward.” Lauren smirked and looked at me.

I bit my lip.

Lauren bit her lip.

I grabbed the muscle of my left arm and looked away shyly.

“So.” She said quietly.

“Yeah.” I replied awkwardly.

We both glanced at Jake and Hannah making out. I’d never made out with anyone before and I didn’t really know how to start it. I was waiting for the awkward moment to pass and wished I was anywhere else in that moment.

“Jeremy.” Lauren said quietly, looking up into my eyes with hope.

I’d been staring at the ground in silence. My eyes met hers with hope. “Yeah?” I whispered.

“I had fun tonight.” She said.

“I did too.” I said eagerly. I tried to think of what Jake would do, he’d probably tell me to chill. In one sweeping motion I brushed my fingers down her jawline and tilted her chin upward as I moved in closer to kiss her softly.
