Love or Infatuation

It's Friday and Andy decided not to show up to school yesterday. I still don't understand what happened on Wednesday. Like why the fuck was Ashley at my door? And why did Andy say that this was about me? I'm nothing special, how am I apart of their little situation? Maybe Andy will be here today, maybe.

I enter the cafeteria, seeing it's lunch, and I look back at 'my' table. Kat's there with Noah and Zack. I don't want to talk to her still, she's wrong about Andy, he's not using me for my body. I decide to take a seat next to Keith. He looks up at me and smiles.

"What are you doing princess? Shouldn't you be hanging out with your boyfriend?" He asks and I look to the ground.

"I haven't seen him." I say.

"He's leaning on the wall and talking with Amber." He points out. Fuck, she's really pretty.

"I'll talk to you later Keith, I just have to talk to him."

"Bye princess."


I walk over to Andy, Amber sees me and walks off to her friends.

"Hey, where were you yesterday?" I ask softly.

"Why does it matter?" He asks, he sounds stressed out.

"What's wrong babe?" I reach for his hand, but he takes a step back.

"Uh can we talk in private?" I nod and follow him out the cafeteria doors. He leads me outside to the back of the school.

"Why won't you let me touch you?" I ask.

"Look Sam, I have no easy way to say this, so I'm gonna be to the point. I'm breaking up with you." He says and my jaw practically drops.

"What?"

"I do care for you, but I don't think I want to be with you."

"You don't think or Ashley doesn't think?"

"Why are you dragging him into this?"

"Because Andy, you were about to tell me something and when Ashley showed up you ran off with him."

"You have to understand that I didn't have a choice."

"You always have a choice Andrew. Come back when you're not under Ashley's command." I turn around to head back in.

"You don't understand." He says under his breath.

I turn around and walk back up to him. "Then make me understand." I say sternly staring into his eyes.

"You wouldn't believe me."

"Try me."

"You're a witch."

"Oh thanks."

"I mean it, you're an actual witch, well kinda."

"Andy do I have green skin and warts to you?"

"Sam I'm serious."

"Okay if I'm a witch, what are you, some warlock or something?"

"No I'm a vampire."
