Before The Angels Fell

Chapter Four: Holly or Heather

Andys POV

I could already feel myself falling into a routine. The tour kicked off in Miami, Florida and I could already tell Ashley was not going to leave me alone.
We just finished our first concert of the tour and were hanging out backstage.
"Andy! Were going out tonight!" Ashley yelled.
"Do we have to? I'm kinda tired" I complained.
"No excuses! I'm not leaving you alone tonight. We're meant to be having fun! Come on, I'm gonna get you laid tonight. No more moping around."
"Ashley, don't push the kid" Jake said entering the dressing room.
"But he is going to mope around all tour if I don't!"
"Andy, you are welcome to stay in with me and Jinxx if you don't want Ashley corrupting you" Jake offered.
"Thanks, but I think I'll go out. I am 21, might as well act like it" I sighed.
"YES!" Ashley shouted like he won the war.
Jake rolled his eyes at him. "Good luck" he said to me.
I just smiled as he exited the dressing room.
"Well, let's grab CC and we'll go. You ready?"
I looked over in the mirror. My war paint was everywhere and hair was all mattered from sweat.
"Yeah."
Ashley grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the exit.
CC was already waiting outside for us and looked surprised when he saw me.
"You got him?!"
"Yep. He's partying with us tonight" Ashley said proudly.
"Awesome. Well there's a bar just down the street, we'll go check it out?" CC said.
"Sounds good to me" Ashley said as he started walking in the direction of the bar.
I followed the excited pair with mild amusement. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea.
I felt around in my pockets for my smokes and pulled one out and lit it.
"Andy! Don't you know that's a bad habit?" Ashley nagged.
"Bad habits die hard" I shot back.
Ashley just shook his head at me.
We continued to walk towards the bar, which we could now hear the music blaring from the second floor.
I butted out my cigarette as we walked in and checked out the place.
Ashley headed straight for the bar and I could hear him ordering us drinks.
A minute later Ashley was shoving a whiskey and coke in one hand and a shot of vodka to the other.
"Cheers guys" Ashley announced.
We all threw our shots back and chased them with our whiskey.
"Okay, another round!" CC said to the bartender.
I could feel the worry on my face. I had a feeling I was not going to remember tonight.

I knew how drunk I was, but I was happy.
For the first time in nearly a year I could smile without a care in the world.
Ashley and CC were chatting up girls near the bar while one had her body pressed to mine on the dance floor.
Her dark brown hair swishing around her face as she danced. I think her name was Holly or Heather...
"Hey! Do you wanna get a drink?!" She shouted.
I simply nodded and grabbed her hand to pull her towards the bar.
I ordered our drinks and looked over at the other side where Ashley was. He looked up at me and winked. I winked back as I handed the girl her drink.
"Do you know him?" She asked, pulling me out of my daze.
"What? Oh, nah. Hey, um you wanna get out of here?" I asked.
Her big brown eyes stared at me for a moment and then she smiled.
We both downed our drinks and slammed them on the bar, making a rush for the door.

Rileys POV

The disadvantage of sleeping on a couch is that when everyone else gets up, they make a shit tonne of noise.
First; I hear Noah's alarm going off at 7:30. Then him taking a shower. Then him coming into the kitchen to make breakfast, and afterwards slamming the door when he leaves.
But it didn't end there. Eli then starts to wake up and he made twice the amount of noise Noah did.
I soon got frustrated and ripped the blanket off myself and joined Eli at the table.
"Well good morning to you too" he mumbled.
"I'm not a morning person. I'm a hazard sign in the morning. You do not talk to it, nor do you wake it up" I mumbled back.
"Are you ready to go?" He asked casually.
"Do I look ready to you?" I said sarcastically.
He looked me up and down and shrugged. "You're wearing clothes. It's a start."
I scoffed and left the table to get ready.

"Grr,I'm never going to find a decent apartment" I said as we walked down a street in Hollywood.
"Well, I just think we're looking in the wrong areas. Trust me, you don't want to be too close to the city. The traffic is horrible here."
"Well, where? I refuse to try and get a place in Skid Row. Knowing my luck I'll get mugged."
"What about Chinatown? It's close to the city, but not too close and the area is pretty good" Eli suggested.
"It's worth a shot. We'll head back to the car then and take a look."
We headed back to Eli's car and made our way downtown.
"It doesn't look too bad down here" I said looking out the window.
"It's a good place to start out. I know of a couple apartment complexes down there, so we'll go check them out."
As he drove down we noticed 'for rent' signs in front of some of the complex so I became hopeful that at least one would work out.
Eli parked the car nearby and we strolled down the street checking out the neighbourhood.
"Hey, umm, if you don't find anything today, you know you can stay with us. It's not a big deal" he said stopping me in front of the first building.
"Eli, it's fine. I will find something. I don't want to be a burden for you guys. You have your own lives."
"But, it's okay. We don't mind."
"What are you getting at? Do you not want me to move out? It's not like you won't see me, we work together" I said staring into his deep blue eyes.
"I suppose. You seriously aren't a morning person" he mused.
"I know. Now lets check this place out" I said pulling him towards the entrance.

The first one was a shit hole.
The second one was way over priced for what it was.
The third one was... Well nothing was wrong with it, I just didn't like it.
"How could you have not liked that one?" Eli said in frustration.
"I just didn't. Bad vibes."
Eli rolled his eyes. "This is the last one, then I'm done for the day."
"Fine" I said shrugging.
We found the manager of the building and they allowed us to look into the apartment.
We were led up to the second floor and to the end of the hallway to apartment six.
"Looking for a place together?" The manager asked to make small talk.
"Oh no, he's just helping me out" I said quickly.
Eli just gave me an odd look, but then smiled.
The door to the apartment swung open and we were shown in.
"This is pretty much it. The bathroom is just to the side in that room, but otherwise it's one big room" the manager said.
The apartment was actually quite big. It had the kitchen off in one corner, then where the bathroom was there was a huge built in closet. Everything else was open to our imagination.
"There's also a laundry room downstairs that everyone uses" the manager chimed in.
"Hmm, I'm not hating it. Quite the opposite actually" I said.
"Well if I were you I'd act now, cause I know there are people coming to look tomorrow."
"What do you think Eli? Is it good?"
Eli looked around a little more before answering me. "I think it's good. If you like it, get it."
"Then I'll take it."

Notes

Sorry it took a bit.
Been soooooo busy.
With the apartment, if you wanna know what I'm picturing.
If you watch Anthony Padilla and Kalel Cullen's vlog from when they were together. I'm imaging Kalel's apartment.
But yeah, leave comments, hope you like it

@tinamoli
No I don't remember. I haven't reread the other stories and its been so long since I first read them. Lol. I'm going to read them again soon though. But still, even if I know it's not supposed to work, that doesn't make it not give me feels. Lol

I know Ashley is weird. Im just trying to establish a connection with Ashley and Riley without anything actually happening. Cause remember that Andy and Riley arent meant to work out. Thats why everything has to go wrong.

Dumb Andy for not stopping her or following her back! Though she did overreact. Doomed! :(
