Love is a Bitch

I sat with Andy on the couch. It has been two weeks since I've been released from the hospital. My memories are starting to return, but small ones. Like, learning to ride a bike. The other day i remembered me and Andy's first fight. It was over my KISS poster. I remember my first kiss. Andy stole that. The little asshole. I smiled as i looked over at him
I was starting to fall in love with this man. The way he held himself with such confidence. His laugh. His dorkiness. His obsession with batman. I looked down at my arms and marveled at my scars. I wounder where they came from. "Andy..where did these come from?" I held my arm out. He swallowed. "They came from somebody who was hurting very badly." I tried to get more out of him. but that's all he would say on the subject. I huffed and crossed my arms.
"You're so childish." He teased. I stuck my tonuge out at him causing him to laugh. There was a knock at the door. "Hey Alix..will you go up stairs for a little bit?" Andy asked. I shrugged. I stood and went up the stairs..okay so i went half way up the steps then stopped to ease drop. But whats the difference?
--Andy's POV--
I took a deep breath and opened the door. Juliet greeted me with a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Andrew, hows Alix?" I gave her a small smile. "She's doing better." I moved out of her way so she could come in. "So what did you want to talk about?" Juliet asked, flopping down on the couch. "I think we should break up" I stated. Better to just get this over with. Juliet smiled. "i agree." Wait..what? I stared at her opened mouthed. She laughed.
"I'm not stupid Andy. I know its not me you love. it never has been. You tried to love me, and i respect that. But im not Alix. I've known since i was 20 that you were in love with her, i just hoped you'd get over her and fall for me" She shrugged. "But it didn't work out that way." Juliet rose and hugged me. "You're still my best friend Andy." She kissed my cheek once again then left. I sat down on the couch. 'Well...that was easy.' i thought to myself.
