Love is a Bitch

Andy's house was huge! I squealed with joy just looking at it. I ran inside and started looking around. Andy yelled for me to wait, but i ignored him. Eventually i found myself in a massive kitchen. I almost fainted at its beauty. Andy appeared behind me. I turned and smiled at him. He was leaning against the door frame watching me.
"I love this kitchen. Can you imagine all the baking i can do in this kitchen? I love baking and cooking! I remember this time when i was younger, I think i was about eight. My mom taught me how to make home made cookies from scratch. She is the best cook ever!" For some reason i felt sad while talking about my mom. I frowned and shook my head. "I should probably call mom...she must be worried sick about me." Andy walked over and placed his hands on my shoulder. "Alix...you cant call your mom. or your dad." He stated calmly. "Why not?" I demanded. "Alix they died when you were ten."
I felt as if my world stopped. Yes..i remembered now. I remember walking down the stairs, there was a knock on the door. Mom and dad had went out into town. I thought maybe they'd locked themselves out. But i opened the door..it wasnt mommy or daddy. It was a man in a unifrom. He told me that i had to come with him. I tried to explain to him that I couldn't leave because my mom said i couldn't leave the house when they aren't home. The man told me mommy would understand this time. He'd held my hand and walked me to the police car.
I remember sitting in the big white waiting room next to Mrs.Biersack. She was crying. I tried to tell her she didnt need to cry. My mommy and daddy were at the store. The officer said that they would meet me here. Mrs. Biersack smiled at me. "oh, baby girl. Mommy and daddy aren't going to come get you. You're coming home with me." when i asked her why, she told me mommy and daddy had to leave. That they didn't want to, but they didnt have that choice. That was the day my world stopped turning. It was also the day i met the boy with the pretty blue eyes.
I clung to Andy as i cried. His arms wrapped around my waist. "It's okay Alixa, I've got you" he whispered. I felt like i just them all over again.
