He Has A Heart Of Fire

Curiosity Killed The Cat, You Know

Andy and I left generous tips on the table and began to leave the cafe.
"Let's take my car," he said, "I'll bring you back here later to get yours."
"Oh, okay," I blushed. I was blushing a lot today.
We both started towards his black Mustang, Andy walked me round and opened my door for me, smiling.
He jogged round to the other side and got into the car. It was hard to believe that I was hanging out with a rock star, he still seemed like that kid I knew in school. Apart from him becoming a lot more attractive and confident.
"Where are we going?" I asked curiously.
"Ah, curiosity killed the cat you know, Autumn." he smiled, pulling some sunglasses on over his piercing, blue eyes as the roof started to slide down.

After 20 minutes of driving in silence with the radio on, I started to see Andy smiling at some signs.
"Are we going to the fair?" I grinned.
"I see you're still a big kid after all this time," he grinned back. We pulled up in a field/parking lot and started walking towards the entrance. It was $2 each for a wristband that gave us $1 off each ride. This was going to be fun.
Andy paid for my wristband even though I'd insisted him not to, and then we made our way in. It was one of those fairs that were only in town for a few days. It was set up in a field, which was getting really muddy from people walking all over it. It's a good thing I put my Docs on.
"What do you want to go on first?" he asked. He looked as excited as I was.
I pointed towards a big ride. It was a line of seats that lifted up to the side and then up and dropped down on the otherside, making a circle. We ran towards the ride and made our way onto it after we paid.
We got all strapped in and Andy suddenly became nervous. "It didn't look that high from over there," he said.
"Are you okay? We can get off if you want?"
"I-" he started, but before he could carry on, the ride started. Andy grabbed my hand.
It spun us up into the air and then dropped us down several times. We both screamed, well, I screamed while he yelled, and we both ended up loving it. We got off and Andy said "It wasn't that bad," while walking in a dizzy line.

We went on a few more rides and had a blast, before walking over to the food stand to get cotton candy. Andy reached into his pocket for his wallet.
"Ah, ah, ah!" I almost shouted, "You've paid for everything so far, let me get this!" I ordered before he could say no, and we had our cotton candy within seconds. We left the fair with our cotton candy and went for a walk around the block, eventually reaching an empty park where we sat down on the swings.
I checked my watch.
"It's 5pm, I'll have to get going soon, Taz will be wondering where I am," I explained, picking at my cotton candy.
"I'll drive you back after we've finished this then," he replied, although he looked disappointed.
"How long are you in town for?" I asked before things started to get silent.
"About a month. We leave to go back on tour on May 16th."
"That's 3 days before my birthday," I smiled. "Where are you guys playing?"
"We're in Nashville the first day, then Atlanta, and then Jacksonville... Just making our way around the country."
"Oh, that's cool."

We finished our cotton candy and made our way back to his car, where he opened my door for me again and we left the fair. He had a spare pair of sunglasses in the glovebox that he let me borrow since I left mine in the car, and we made our way back to The Bow Tie Cafe.
"Today's been really cool, thank you" I grinned. It really had been an awesome day.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it," he beamed. "We should hang out again before I leave."
"I'm free for the next two weeks, the kids are off for Easter," I replied quickly.
"Cool, I'll call you in the next few days." He walked me back to my car and gave me a tight hug and a peck on the cheek, and then he stood and watched as I drove away.
I walked into my apartment with a small smile on my face to find Taz, Tobi, and Jason still playing games in the livingroom.
"Seriously you're still playing video games?" I asked, their heads all whipping round. They clearly didn't hear me come in.
"Someone had a good day!" Taz winked at me, noticing my flushed face.
"I'll tell you about it tomorrow," I laughed, wanting to tell Taz about it without the boys there.

I washed all of their dishes and went to my room, where I got my sweats and a tank top on, before putting my hair up into a messy bun.
I spent the rest of the night reading my book and listening to Black Veil Brides.
