He Has A Heart Of Fire

Tazmyn and I finished a couple episodes of Orange Is The New Black. We started watching it a few days ago and agreed to only watch it with each other.
"I can't believe CrazyEyes did that, who pisses on someones floor?!" she said loudly with a disgusted look on her face.
"Clearly a crazy prison wife, haha"
I hopped up off the couch to go make us both some tea. Me and Taz were best friends, but a lot of the time we were like opposites. She has three sugars in her tea, I have none. She overreacts to things on TV shows, I don't.

"I'm going to go drink this in my room and they go to sleep okay?" I asked as she flopped back down on the couch.
"'Kay"
"Don't be up to late or you'll fuck up your sleeping pattern again," I warned her.
"Okay, mom!"
I sighed and walked through to my room with my tea.

It was a very unconventional room for a teaching assistant. Maroon walls and band posters on the walls, black lamps, black bedding. I wanted to have my bedroom like this when I was younger but my mom said no because it was 'too dark'.
I sat down onto my bed and pulled my laptop out, googling Black Veil Brides.
They'd come so far since high school! They'd released three albums and were working on a fourth.
There were some pictures at the side of the page. Wow, puberty had been good to Andy! He was no longer scrawny, he didn't wear as much 'emo' makeup, and he'd cut his hair. He actually looked kind of hot.

I listened to a couple of songs and then went to sleep, up early in the morning for work.


As I was on my way to work the next morning, I had one of Andy's songs stuck in my head. The same song came on the radio, so I sang along.
"We scream! We shout! We are the fallen angels!"
Man, they were good.

I was in work for 6 hours and did what I did every day to chill out before I went home. I drove to The Bow Tie.
I walked in and ordered my usual. I payed at the till and turned around to find my normal table, but someone was sitting there.
It was Andy! I forgot, even though he's a big star now, he's still from Cincinnati.
He won't remember me, I thought. Last time he saw me, I was shorter and had short brown hair. So I went and found another spot by a window and pulled my book out.
The waitress came with my order and, as usual, I thanked her and started to put milk in. I looked up and saw Andy looking around his table. I carried on with my drink and my book, minding my own business.
The next thing I heard was footsteps, and then "Excuse me?" in a low, gravelly voice.
I looked up and Andy Biersack was stood there.
"Do you have any spare milk? They didn't put any on my table."
"Um, sure, here." I replied, handing him a few sachets of milk.
"Thanks." And then he walked back to his table.

I sat in The Bow Tie, reading my book peacefully until I finished my drink, then I got up, left a tip, and started to leave.
As I got out of the door, I heard from behind me in that gravelly voice, "Hey! Aren't you Autumn?"
I turned around to see Andy stood behind me with a smile on his face.
"Yeah, hi." I replied, suddenly becoming nervous.
"Hey! It's Andy, from school. Remember me?"
"Oh, yeah, hi! Jeez, it's been so long since I last saw you! I hear you're a big singer now."
"Yeah kinda," he chuckled. "How have you been? You've changed a lot."
"I've been good, and I thought a change of appearance would be interesting."
"It suits you", he smiled, and I noticed he'd had his teeth straightened. "Look, I've gotta shoot, but if you want you could give me your number and we'll catch up some time?"
"Sure!" I smiled, punching in my number on his phone.
"I'll call you, bye!" And at that, he turned around and walked over to a beautiful, black Mustang.

I hadn't expected that to happen!
