He Has A Heart Of Fire

Fashionably Late

"Autumn? Come on, baby, time to wake up," Andy whispered, shaking my shoulder softly.
I woke up feeling refreshed and back to normal after my pampering last night. I could barely open my eyes though, so Andy picked me up bridal-style, carried me through to the kitchen and sat me up on the breakfast bar. The kitchen was warm and filled with the divine smell of breakfast.
I sat on the breakfast bar rubbing my eyes, trying to wake up properly as Andy turned around and handed me a cup of tea.
"Mm," I said, sipping my tea. "Thank you," I smiled.
When my eyes finally decided to open properly, I noticed it was still dark outside.
"Whoa, what time is it?" I frowned.
"6am," Andy laughed. "We have to be on the road by 8, remember?" He shoveled pancakes and bacon onto two plates, before placing them on the table.
We sat down and tucked in. As usual, it was delicious.
"Where are we off to first again?" I asked through a mouthful of pancakes.
"Nashville," he replied. "We're starting with places closest to home and then working our way outwards."

After breakfast, I hopped in the shower. I had one of Black Veil Bride's songs stuck in my head, so I sang that instead of my usual shower song.
"Before your life is over, know this to be true.
All the hate we hold inside, still won't save your youth.
Don't waste your time on tragedy, easy to forget.
Time that's lost enemies fought, are worth the price to live.
"

As I was conditioning my hair, I heard the door click open and I was quickly joined by Andy.
"Have you ever heard of privacy?" I joked.
"Just saving time and water, babe," he winked, reaching for the shampoo. We both sang together while we washed, going into the bedroom to get dressed afterwards. We each had one outfit left in the room; everything else was packed.
I had decided the day before to dress comfortably while we were traveling, so I wore a pair of black leggings, black converse, and Andy's wide sleeved Misfits tank top with a white crop top underneath. I had my hair in braided pigtails, my layers falling loosely over the beginning of them. I kept my makeup fairly light, black eyeliner with nude eyeshadow. I felt cute today.
Andy wore black skinny jeans with a black tank top and his black denim vest, along with his boots, one of my favourite outfits of his.

When I had finished getting myself ready, I grabbed my backpack and filled it with things I'd want on the bus. Books, my Nintendo DS, some DVDs, and my iPod, along with some deodorant, perfume and my makeup bag. My laptop was in it's bag and sat with the suitcases.
"Do you have enough stuff?" Andy chuckled, watching me stuff my backpack.
"This is my first tour, I have to over-prepare," I informed him.
We were ready a half hour before we had to leave the apartment, so we sat and watched TV for a little while. The whole time, I was itching to leave, already getting impatient. I could feel Andy's eyes watching me as I occasionally started tapping my feet, or tapping my nails on the back of my phone.
By 7:45, Andy finally let us leave. We called a cab, stuffed all of our luggage into the back and asked the driver to take us to the record company building, which was where the buses were picking everyone up.

We were the last ones to get there, fashionably late as usual. We'd gotten there just in the nick of time, the buses coming around the corner after we'd been there all of two minutes.
I could tell that Taz had missed having me around because she was talking to me non-stop. The buses parked up and then the drivers stepped out to introduce themselves and load the buses. Rob was coming on tour with us, but he was making his own way there and staying in hotels, to give our bands some privacy.
I walked up to Andy as he loaded his last bag. "Babe, I'm going to go in our bus, hang out with the guys for a bit," I smiled, holding his hand and giving him a small kiss. We said our quick goodbyes, and then we were climbing into our designated buses.
"I CALL FIRST BUNK," Taz yelled, running towards the bunks.
"I CALL SECOND," I shouted in response. Taz and I quickly fought our way to the sleeping area and claimed our bunks. There were two stacks of beds, three all on top of each other on each stack, with a long ladder leading to the top. There was one for each band member and one for the bus driver. Taz and I picked the two bottom ones so that our beds were opposite each other. It felt like we were two little girls, getting all excited about going to camp.
The five of us picked our bunks and then explored the bus. At the front of the bus, you walked up the steps and straight into a make-shift living room, which had two couches; one against the wall, and one with its back to the drivers cab, and a kitchen next to it. On the wall next to the door, there was a TV. The kitchen was next to the TV. We had one small oven, a sink, a fridge, and a microwave. Past that was the sleeping area, and then just past that was the VERY small bathroom. The bathroom had a small shower cubicle, with a toilet and a sink right next to it. The room was that small, you opened the door and almost whacked it into the toilet. That was going to be fun to share with five other people.
We had 15 minutes to get comfortable and explore the bus before we set off. Once we left, it finally hit me; we were going on tour.
It would only be a short drive. We were going to Nashiville, Tennessee, so only a 4 hour trip.

"Come with me," Taz said, dragging me towards the back of the bus after grabbing my backpack.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"We haven't spoke properly in ages, so we're going to hang out, just the two of us," she told me firmly, sitting down on the floor outside the bathroom door.
We spoke for a while, about a lot of things. What it was like me living with Andy, her living with Tobi and Jason, what we were going to wear for our first show, books we'd been reading.
Before we knew it, we'd been on the road, for almost 2 hours, meaning it was about 10am. Tobi walked towards the back of the bus, making Taz look up.
"Are you going to acknowledge me yet?" my brother asked her rather grumpily.
"I have acknowledged you, what are you talking about?" she frowned.
"I know you've missed my sister and all, but I'm you're boyfriend, I don't want you just ignoring me for the whole trip." Ah, my brother was seeking some attention off of his girlfriend.
"Tobi, you've fucking moved in with me, I've been giving you attention the whole time you've been there, I'd like a bit of a break," she sighed.
"Oh, you want a break?" He seemed like he was trying to start an argument as he started shouting Taz. Just as she was on the verge of tears, the bus came to a halt.
"Truck stop. You can get out to stretch you're legs now, we're right outside a store," the driver told us.
I grabbed my backpack and we all made our way out of the bus, groaning as we stretched our stiffened legs. Well, all of us except Tobi, who stayed in the bus sulking.

Taz, Jason, Link and I stood outside for a minute before Black Veil Brides climbed out of their bus. We all spoke for a bit before me and Taz went into the store.
"Is everything okay with you two?" I asked her as I browsed through the aisle's.
"Meh," she huffed. "I don't feel like getting into it right now..."
I respected her wishes and left it alone, changing the subject and trying to decide what I wanted from the store. I ended up buying two cans of Monster, a strawberry and banana smoothie, and a tube of original Pringles.
As Taz was paying for her stuff, I stepped outside to talk to Andy.
"Hey, beautiful," he beamed, kissing my nose.
"Hey," I replied, kissing him back. "Can you do me a huge favour?"
"Sure, anything," his face grew worried.
"Can me and Taz come on your bus for the rest of the trip? She and Tobi got into a fight and I think he needs some guy time," I explained.
"Of course," he smiled.
I thanked my wonderful boyfriend and went to find Taz, who was stood outside the store next to Tobi. They both looked ridiculously awkward, deliberately ignoring each other.

When the drivers announced it was time to set off, I watched Link and Jason climb into our bus before dragging Taz to the side.
"We're going on the BVB bus, okay? Don't question it, just go. I'll tell the driver," I told her. She just blinked at me before heading over to the other bands bus. At least she was listening to me for once.
I jogged up my buses steps to tell the driver, then climbed back out and shut the door, before heading over the my boyfriends tour bus.

Notes

So what's happening with Taz and Tobias?
