"And maybe when you get back I'll have found a way." The song played in my ear as I lowered my head to bite the stupid human. They had a curfew for a reason.
i was suddenly pushed down into a snow bank. The girl went running. "Hey I don't know if your new nudie but once a fleshie is pinned its the pinners."i shouted sitting up a little. the term fleshie rolled off my tongue y like second nature.
"Do they're called fleshie now. Hmm. I wonder what your sister would say." The deep voice tumbled and I know who it was instantly.
i started to laugh. Then chuckled than a maniacal sound came out. He was awake. The jack ass let my food go cause he thought it was bad. "She's dead dip sit. So is every non vampire from that year."
"what do you mean?" He fumbled with his words
"it's been two hundred years Jack ass. You slept two life times away." I said giggling. My hair that now feel to my knees feel into my face.
"you went blood mad didn't you?" He asked. I had no idea what he meant.
"no I'm just finally free." I said laughing harder.
"yup you're blood mad." He sighed and pinned me to the ground. "Bite." He demanded.
i kicked him in the nuts. He fell. I stood to run. He caught my ankle pinning me to the ground. I struggled as he bite his finger letting blood dribble. The sent drive me mad and I licked his finger. He lowered his neck to my mouth and I couldn't stop myself. I bit
slowly gulp after gulp I became more aware of everything. I killed hundreds. The massacre at my sister's funeral. The ripped up drawings of Andy on the apartment floor I hadn't been in for fifty years. The crying. The watching him sleep. Being alone.
the strange part about this was that I knew he could tell everything I was thinking. Suddenly I stopped and turned my head. "I'm sorry." He whispered after placing his head on my chest.
"me too." I responded a minute later.
"what happened." He paused "besides what I saw.
"my chemical romance got back together. They're fae. Canada invaded America. We surrendered. After the massacre at the funeral vampires took over. Kellin Quinn's daughter aloped with a mermaid. And yes still in that order."
"sounds exciting."
we laid there for hours unmoving. I finally lifted my hand and ran it through his hair. He snuggled closer to me. I closed my eyes and let him hum into my neck songs from so long ago.
when the sun hit the horizon he took back to home and we laid on the old dusty couch exactly like in the snow bank.
i think that was what made mute feel sane. His arms around me. His voice singing words I forgot. and his blue eyes not looking anywhere than my gold ones.
