“Are you all packed and ready to go?” Andy said as he walked into our front door.

“You know you should really knock. What if one day we are both in just our underwear?” I told him, “And yes we are.”

“Well that would be quite a show.” he laughed, “Just kidding, I’m sorry. I’ll start knocking; I’m just so use to walking in now.” he walked over and hugged me.

“Well we are all packed and ready to go. At least I am, Scar is deciding what to take.” I said.

“Hey! It takes work to pick out what underwear I want to take! What if I meet a cute guy at a club one day and I’m warning grandma underwear! Andy I need a mans point of view.” Scar said walking out of her room.

“Uh, I think Ashley is the guy for that. Besides, Jinxx doesn’t care what type of underwear his girl wears, he’s more of a bra guy.” Andy winked.

“Oh my god!” Scar yelled throwing the underwear in her hand at Andy. The thin material didn’t get so far, but it still made us laugh. “I’m not “his girl” can you please stop saying that!” she stomped back into her room and came out with a bag. “I’m done packing, happy!”

“Aw, I’m sorry Scar. I didn’t think you were still denying your feelings.” Andy said while hugging her, but Scar ended up hitting him in the chest.

“Ok you two, knock it off. Andy help us get our shit downstairs to our trailer please.” The night before we had helped Iris and Anna pack their things and tonight was out night.

We were leaving as soon as we had everything ready to go, anytime tonight we would be out on the rode. Since we couldn’t afford a bus we were still stuck driving a van and trailer. Lucky for us we found a van with more than enough space.
As we made our way down the hallway and to the elevator, I couldn’t help but get nervous. I had never toured before, I’ve never played in front of thousands of people. I only played in front of eighty at the most. I guess you could see my emotions through my eyes cause Andy put his arm around me and told me it was all going to be ok.
When we had everything downstairs we loaded it all up into our trailer. Iris and Anna showed up and before we knew it we were all ready to go. We did a last few cheeks before we realized that everything was ready.

“Alright, looks like you gals are all good to go. Just follow our bus and we’ll be on the road.” Andy smiled.

Everyone’s face lit up except mine. The nerves were killing me, and fast. I could feel my stomach clenching and my knees shaking. I’ve ever been this scared of anything.

“Aw, you’ll be fine Crystal. No need to get nervous.” Andy wrapped his arms around me as I hid my face in his chest.

“Ooh.” we heard the girls say behind us.

“Just ignore them.” he whispered into my ear. “You’ll be fine ok. It just a little first concert gitters. It will all pass, if you need anything just call or text me.” he whispered.

“Why don’t you just fuck already!” We heard Scar yell.

“If this is revenge for us mocking you about Jinxx, it’s not going to work.” Andy laughed.

“And may I remind I still have to kill you for what you did at the signing last month!” I turned to face her; walking closer and closer.

“Oh please, you should be thanking me I made you kiss him. I mean just look at him, he’s a total babe.” Scar winked.

“Darling, I’ve seen better.” Anna smirked.

“Anna, don’t test me.” Andy winked at her.

“Can we please just get going now? I’m tired and want to sleep.” Iris said. Her voice was so soft and quite it sounded like a little girls.

“Good idea, I’m tired too.” I said.

“Why don’t you keep her company Andy?” Anna smirked.

“You know what,” Andy walked over and picked her up over his shoulder, “how about I take you to rest with Ashley? I’m sure he’ll keep you nice and warm.” he laughed and began to walk away.

“Andy! You son of a bitch don’t you dare! Put me down!” Anna yelled and punched his back.

“Are you done with your smart mouth?” he asked her and stopped walking.

“Ugh, yes…” she groaned.

“Good.” Andy smiled and put her down. She stomped away from him and went inside the van without another word. “Goodnight girls! See you in Houston!” Andy waved.

“Bye Andy.” we all said.

He walked into his bus and we sat in our van. Our driver was waiting for the bus to leave before he headed out too.

“Is anyone else nervous besides me?” I asked, they all nodded.

The ride was quit, either they were sleeping, fake sleeping, or just didn’t want to talk. I looked straight ahead into the lights of the bus that Andy slept in. I owed a lot to that man; he was the one that made it all happen. I don’t think I could ever thank him enough for this.

“You like him don’t you?” I heard Iris’ soft voice whisper.

I laughed, “What are you talking about Iris?”

“I saw how you guys held each other when you were scared. You may not like him, but he sure likes you.” she whispered.

“You’re seeing things Iris.” I told her.

“I know what I saw. I may be quite, but I’m a good observer. Maybe you should stop trying to open Scar’s eyes and open your own.” that was the last thing Iris said to be before drifting to sleep.

I continued to stare at the bus. She was crazy if she thought I liked Andy! He was my best friend. Plus I never saw Andy in that manner, I wasn’t like most fans that wanted to date and marry the guy; I just wanted to get to know him. See what thinks and how he sees the world, compare our thoughts. Not date; definitely not date.
But the whole night that’s all I could think about; Andy. What Iris had told me, “Stop trying to open Scar’s eyes and open your own…” maybe that’s why I say I don’t like him, cause I’m still forcing my eyes closed. No, she’s wrong, I can’t like Andy. I can’t and I won’t, but thinking that only makes me want to like Andy. So, it begins; is he a friend or crush? What am I to him?

“Stop thinking that Crystal, he’s your friend. Just friends, and that the way it’s going to be.” I thought right before falling asleep.
