Before The Angels Fell

Andys POV

"What the fuck was last night?" I said to Ashley as we waited for our flight.
"Nothing. We were hanging out. Why? What were you doing with Juliet last night?" He asked casually.
"Nothing. Hanging out" I copied.
"So. Then we have no problem" Ashley said, getting annoyed.
"Are you kidding? Yeah, we have a problem!"
"Why? She's lonely, you're never home! I'm just keeping her company. Look, I don't know what your angle is with Juliet is, but you have a loving girlfriend at home and I hope you have the decency to break up with her before anything happens. Or you can string her along like you have and it will blow up in your face. I just want her to know that I'm there for her when you're not" he stated.
"So, what? You want her?" I tried to say calmly.
"No, you fucking idiot... I would never take something that was yours. But she might just fall into my arms. You don't realise this, but she's a lot like me; she might be happier with me. If that's what she wants."
"You couldn't be more wrong. She's happy with me. I'm the best thing to ever happen to her" I said with a bit of pride.
"But is she still happy? You're trying to sort through feelings, so you don't even know if you love her. I just don't want her to feel like she's alone."
I looked at Ashley and was pissed with myself. I think I had fucked up Riley's life.
"Hey! Sorry. I've been running late all morning. It's like everything went wrong this morning!" Juliet huffed as she sat next to me.
Ashley glared at her.
"What? Am I interrupting" she said nervously.
"Kinda" Ashley said bluntly. "I hope you know what you're doing" Ashley muttered before leaving his place next to me and finding CC.
"What's he talking about?" Juliet asked.
"Riley. Apparently I'm screwing everything up" I shrugged.
"How?"
"You're really asking that? How do you think?" I frowned.
Juliet's face was lost for a moment, then it clicked. "Oh."
"Yeah... I'm just working through things. Just do me a favour and don't say anything to anyone. Ashley is really the only one that knows where I am when Riley says I'm 'recording', but otherwise we're barely friends to everyone else. I do like you though. Just give me some time" I pleaded.
"It's okay Andy. I'm not rushing you or anything. I don't expect you to leave your girlfriend for me, but tell me if you do" she smirked.
"Don't do that, it's not fair" I whined.
We both smiled and laughed.
"Come on, I think we have to board" I said as I noticed people leaving their seats.
"Can I sit next to you?" Juliet asked.
I thought about it for a moment. Was it a good idea...?
"What the hell. Sure. We're gonna be together all tour and over Christmas. You gotta get use to me."
"Ooo, lucky me" she said playfully.
I sighed. This was going to be a long tour.

Rileys POV

3 weeks since they left and I had never felt more lonely.
I was working at The Roof all hours of the day just to avoid home. I missed Andy so much it was driving me crazy.
Most nights I would stay at my old apartment with Kimber so I wouldn't be alone all the time.
Christmas was only a few days away and it was honestly going to be so depressing. Andy was going to stay in Ohio with his family over Christmas, his birthday and new years. I was a little disappointed that he didn't invite me, but after last years drama, I was a little relieved.
"What are we going to do over Christmas?" Kimber asked one night before we went to bed.
"I have no idea. Part of me wants to go out and party, but the other part of me wants to be a hermit and watch movies."
"Let's just watch movies. I really can't be fucked going out. Or we can just get drunk at home" she shrugged.
"That is the best thing I've ever heard. Let's get drunk."
Kimber laughed. "Hey, umm how have you been? We don't get to chat like we use to. At least now we can spend some time together."
"Ohh, umm, I've been okay. I kinda feel like they have been away longer than they have."
"Why's that?" She questioned, climbing into her bed.
"Andy was working a lot of late nights before they left, so I really haven't seen him much. I'm almost use to now having him around. Ashley would often come over and amuse me."
"I didn't know Ash was hanging out with you" she said giving me a judgmental look.
"It's not like that. We're friends. We're actually really alike. We have just become close and it's nice since when me and Andy started dating, we didn't really get along" I said from the couch.
Kimber shrugged. "I get along with all of them and CC isn't really fussed anyways."
"Hey, umm, can I ask you a serious question?"
"Of course hun. What's up?" Her tone of voice changing.
"Do you think Andy loves me?"
"What? Of course he does. Why wouldn't he? You're so bright and brilliant! How could he not? With you guys it was love at first sight. Why do you ask?"
"No reason. I've just been unsure lately, but it's probably me being anxious" I lied. "Night hun."

Notes

I think the next one will be the last! I'm so excited to be done with this story. It has taken me like 7 months to do this one. I wanna cry. I hope you guys like it.
