Before The Angels Fell

Rileys POV

As the cab drove away from Andy's house I was in disbelief.
I had just walked away from Andy Biersack and I had his number.
There was no chance I was ever going to see him again and I was okay with that. I had the most amazing night and it was over now. Forever... Never to speak to him again...
What have I done?! Why did I do that?! Any girl would have died to be where I was!
I huffed a sigh and sat back on the seat.
He might call me on Monday... Yeah right... Like he would actually call me.
The cab eventually pulled up to my apartment and I raced upstairs to tell Kimber everything.
"Kimber! Kimber! Wake up!" I yelled as I fumbled with my keys into the apartment.
As I flicked on a light, Kimber quickly sat up in bed. "What?! What the fuck?! Riley! Don't fucking scare me like that!" She said, clearly startled by my entrance.
"Sorry, I just have to tell you everything!"
"Oh my God! You're back from Andy's! How did it go? Was he pissed that you weren't staying?" She gushed.
"No... He was understanding. I just said I had work, but he tried to persuade me, he even offered to drive me, but I held strong. Did I make the right choice?" I said nervously.
"What? Of course you did. If you want him to have any respect for you, you can't give it to him on the first night. Especially cause you... Well, yeah..."
"But what if I never see him again?! He was amazing and kind and funny and adorable and..." I sighed.
"And, you can get lost in those blue eyes or memorized by the contours of his face..."
"Hey! He's mine! He has my number and I have his. He said he wanted to see me again."
"That's great!" Kimber shouted.
"I hope that he wasn't lying and will actually call me. I mean, he said that I would see him again."
"Then he will! He went out of his way to get you up on stage, then he takes us out for drinks, then back to his place! Riley, I think he likes you" she said in a cute high voice.
"Shut up! How was your night anyways?" I asked.
Kimber sighed a longing sigh. "Amazing. I got chat with all the other members and they are all so nice. I swear to God, Ashley is the biggest man whore ever. After you guys left he was hitting on these girls and I'm pretty sure they went home with him. Jake and Jinxx are so kind and caring. I just wanted to hug them. But, best for last, CC. OMG, I just wanted to sit in his lap and cuddle him. Can I have him?" She whined.
I laughed at her. "I tell you what, if me and Andy happen, I'll get you CC. Deal?"
"Deal. Since you and Andy have a pretty good shot at actually being a couple."
"You have a lot of faith" I said curiously.
"Well maybe there's a reason for that..." She went on.
"A reason?"
"Well, other than being a man whore, Ashley was going on about how Andy hasn't had feelings for anyone in a while and he said that Andy really likes you."
"But he barely knows me!"
"Hey, don't shoot the messenger. Besides, it's Ashley. He was acting a little funny all night. He kept glancing over at you guys."
"Really? Does he think we'll work?"
Kimber shrugged. "I'm sure it will no matter what."
I sighed. "I hope so. I've never had anyone..."
"Anyone, what?"
"Andy just seems different. Unlike anyone I've ever met. Something just tells me that he actually does care for me. Getting to know him, would be one of the greatest pleasures in life."
"Wow... Spoken like a poet" Kimber said sarcastically.
"Shut up! Go back to sleep."
"I'm staying in your bed by the way. I ain't sleeping on the couch tonight."
"Fine, you can share."

It was late Sunday night... Or early Monday morning. I was cleaning up late at the bar on my own.
I went into the back store room to grab a couple of bottles to re-stock the spirits, when I heard the front door open.
"Sorry, we're closed" I yelled out.
I waited for a reply, or the door to open again, but nothing. I ran out to the front to see if anyone was still there.
"Hey" said a gorgeous man with bright blue eyes and a smile that would kill. Andy.
I almost dropped the bottles in my hands. "H-hi" I said uneasily. "Wha-what are you doing here?" I asked.
"It's Monday. You said I could see you on Monday" he said obviously.
"But, I-I'm working."
"There's no one here."
"How'd you know where I worked?" I questioned
"I went into every bar in LA, until I found you" he paused. "I'm kidding, Kimber mentioned it to one of the guys. And I knew you always finished late. Thought I'd come keep you company."
"Well, aren't you sweet. I actually hate being here alone."
"Then why did you send everyone home?"
"Cause I feel bad, cause they have lives" I shrugged.
"So do you."
"I'm not too fussed. I'm still getting use to it. Do you want a drink?" I asked grabbing two glasses and the bottle of whiskey.
"You're gonna pour one for me anyways. Why are you drinking at this hour? It's like 2 am" Andy said sitting on one of the bar stools.
"Cause I'm a bar tender. I can. And I'm from Vegas. 2 am is like our 12 pm. Our lunchtime drink."
"Wow... And Ashley says I'm an alcoholic" he said taking the glass.
"Hey!" I said grabbing a hand towel and whipping across his arm.
"Ow!" He said playfully and laughing.
I smiled at him, grabbing my drink and downing it. "That's how we do it in Vegas" I said placing the glass down.
"Do you miss Vegas?" He asked.
"Not one bit. Hell hole. Never going back" I said bluntly.
"Fair enough."
We chatted for a while, until he come out with this question.
"Question. Would you like to go on a date with me?"
