On a quiet morning as I walked around the palace looking for my best friend Jalex, as I turned down a corridor to see nothing but an empty hallway I sigh and turn around to meet with a pair of eyes “good morning princess” I jumped slightly causing him to laugh, I lightly smacked his shoulder “that was rude you butthole and you don’t have to call me princess you know that” he nods “yea I know but you are a princess” I roll my eyes “thank you captain obvious” we headed back to my room “when are the king and queen expected to return?” he asked “um I have no idea let me ask Biles” as I finished that sentence Biles stuck his head out of random door “what can I do for you princess?” he said with his warm smile “do you know when my parents are set to return?” I ask “I believe next week” I nod “thank you Biles” “will that be everything?” he asked “yea if you need Jalex or I we will be in the music room” before he could say anything we ran off. “Axelle where is the guitar?” Jalex asked looking around “did you check the closet?” I heard the creek of a door and a quiet “never mind” I pulled out two chairs and sat on one waiting for Jalex to finish tuning when he sat down next to me “what song should we start with?” I thought for a moment “how about one of my brothers songs” he nods and starts playing the beat to ‘done for you’. as we played together I couldn’t help but smile as my best friend smiled back at me, I loved getting lost in the music “I wish I could be like my brother and tour the world singing with my friends” Jalex set the guitar down “do you miss the prince?” he asked I stood up and started to put my chair away “more than anything” he placed his hand on my shoulder “I’m positive that prince Andrew misses you as well, and maybe one day the king and queen will let you go like they did your brother” I nod “maybe my parents are pretty awesome” after a moment of silence I spoke up “same time tomorrow?” Jalex smiles “I’ll be there” and he collects his things and heads out as Biles walked in “princess you have a royal meeting tomorrow so please make sure you get some rest” I nod “thank you Biles” he nods “remember the meetings are only until your parents return” I smile “thanks” and head back to my room. I changed into something slightly more comfortable and head to the dinner hall considering it was about lunch time, I sat down at a table as Biles set a plate in front of me nod a slight thanks and he stands by “Biles” he returns “yes princess, is the food not to your liking?” he asked “no nothing like that I just have a question” I point to the chair hoping he would take a seat and he did placing his hand on mine “what’s wrong princess?” he asked “do you think my brother is thinking of me? or that he will visit? or anything?” Biles held my hand in a reassuring way “of course, I’m most positive that the prince thinks of you, you are his little sister and he loves you very much I’m sure that he will visit you soon” I lean in and hug him “I appreciate that Biles” he stands up “anytime you need me just call out, now if you’ll excuse me princess I must take care of some unattended duties” he said “oh of course” and he left, leaving me alone to finish my lunch. as I finished a chef had returned to take my plate “quite a delicious lunch today” he bows “thank you princess” and he walks back to the kitchen, I head to my room Biles sure has been super busy today does he ever rest, I approach my room and push open the door to see a huge fort “Jalex” he popped his head out “hello” I just laugh slightly “what are you doing?” he shrugs “you seemed kinda down I wanted to make sure you were better so I came in here and made a fort so we could have a movie night like we used to when were little” he says and lifted up a blanket to show a ton of candy and soda “so exactly like when we were little just with older movies” I say Jalex nods excitedly “you know this is exactly what I need right now” and I crawled in the fort “what movie?” I ask as I get under the covers he opens the computer “do you even need to ask?” he chuckled and forrest gump came on “I love this movie!” he smiles “I know you do” and hit play.
