I sighed looking out the window at the sky. I could see it getting blacker and blacker by the minute, and I knew that they were closing in. I couldent understand why in their eyes we were in the wrong. All we had done was fall on love, create a young amazing life. I couldent understand how that was so bad. My mind was in pieces as I tried to figure out what was really going on. The shadows were after us, and I had changed into somethign that scared the people I loved, and I didn't know what I was anymore, I didn't recognise myself, inside or out. I sighed, and I looked at Andy. He was looking forward, at the road, his eyes wide open, looking out into the open. I looked at Alice in the back, asleep as usual.

I hated everything that had gone on, everything. I hated that it hurt my family as well as me, I hated that it was pulling my family that I had always wanted apart. I wanted to kill the shadows, I wanted everything to stop, and go back to normal. I wanted to go home. After a while we pulled into a hotel, and checked in. Andy collapsed onto the bed, Alice in his arms, and fell asleep. I sighed, a tear slipping down my cheek. I knew that I was slowly losing my family, the people I love. I wanted myself to be normal, just for once, to be normal. I sighed, and sat down on a chair, and let a few more tears slid. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, and I got up, and opened it. There stood Mary, the woman who brought me up.

"Mary, what are you doing Here?"
"I needed to come, I needed to explain." She said, and I let her in. "Be quiet there asleep." I said, and she looked at Andy and Alice, and smiled. "She has your eyes." She said, sitting down as I made some coffee." "I know, Andy always, well, used to say that."
"What do you mean used to?"
"Well, since all this has happened....since I...changed.....nothings been the same."
"What do you mean changed?" She asked as I passed her the coffee, and sat beside her. "Well...a few nights ago at another hotel, there was a shadow in Alice's room...I got scared...I..I changed. My eyes burned and my gums started to bleed, then I bite him...I didn't think anything could kill a shadow but my bite did. I don't know whats happened to me.." I said, a few tears slipping.

She looked at me, then looked at Andy and Alice. "Wake up Andy...I need to talk to both of you." She siad, and I sighed, gently walking over to Andy and shaking him awake. "Andy?"
"Mmmm...."
"You need to wake up, but don't wake Alice.."
"Why?"
"Beacause someones here to talk to us." I said, and he sighed, and got up, and I made him coffee as he sat down on a chair, and he introuced himself to Mary, and she did the same to him. "Right...so this thing thats happened to you Bunni, is the first time it happened?" She asked, and I nodded. "I know what it is." She said, and we stared at her wide eyed. "When you were little, extreamly little, you were with your mother, and you are both known as Blood Angels. Blood Angels are different to other angels because they have two sides to them, one they can control, one they cannot. The side that you cannot control is the side that came out the other night, to protect your own blood, to protect your child. Your kind are the only ind that can kill a shadow, but you are not idestructable.."

"What....what happened to my kind?"
"They were all killed buy Dameon and he possey of shadows. They killed every last one, apart from you. Your mother gave you to me before she was killed, and asked me to wipe your memory and keep you safe. I did that. I wiped your memory of how your mother died,and what type of angel you are. It kept you hidden for years, until just now when you had a child. Your child Alice has your eyes...she has the blood angel gene. It won't kick in yet because nothing like that has happened to her, but when it does it will be just like you were. Dameon wants to get rid of all blood angels because they're the only thing that will ever stop him from taking over the world, both angels and humans alike. If he rules nothing will stop him.Your our last hope Bunni...please do whats right..." She said, and I nodded.

Andy gently took my hand, squeezing it lightly. Suddenly a shadow flew through the window and attached itself to me, pulling me to the ground. Andy and Mary jumped up, and Mary pulled me from its grasp, and Andy picked up Alice, and grabbed me and went to grab mary. "No leave me, if it has me then it'll leave you be for a while." She said, and a tear slid down my cheek. I tried to turn into my blood side, but nothing was happening. "Mary nothings happening."
"Because you can't control it!" She yelled as the shadow grabbed her, and flew her out the window. I collpased in tears, and Andy pulled me close, calming me and holding Alice tight....
