I hold the man tightly in my arms, careful not to hurt him. Who are these guys? They're human... well mostly. Both of them are half Fallen Angel... This one needs medical attention and fast.
"Ace... he's not gonna last much longer." Thirty Below whispers floating along side of me. I sigh, I need to do something and fast.
"I could bite him... but that wouldnt help anyone." I feel him moan slightly then cough weakly. He's so pale and sick... God.
"Ace of Spades dont you remember what your mother taught you?" Thirty Below whispers and I stop in mid air, floating. Only Angels can heal... its gonna take everything out of me... but I need to... Everything slows down, way down. I gasp as my eyes adjust the auras. I cant see anything but the flicker of color. His aura is a pale gray... god he needs help. I let my grow and engulf us both, I weeze as I feel my lungs compress. My golden aura slowly mixes with his and his skin returns to a normal color. He's still out but no longer on the brink of death.
"Thirty... go back I need you to make sure there is a bed waiting for him. Oh and if you can... a blood bag for me." I cough, that took alot out of me. She needs and evaporates. Did I mention she is a Ghoul? Whoops. I follow the familiar trail of the Rockys and land softly in the cave that we call home.
"Ace?" Ray of Sun's voice sounds from the back of the cave. I cough weakly and she rushes out, eyes wide. She takes him out of my grasp and lays him on the bed in the back of the room, near the fire. 4 other guys lay on pillows near there and one girl. I manage to make my way over there. 2 of them whimper slightly but I smile and open my wings.
"I won't hurt you... I'm Ace of Spades by the way." I smile and bow, my 20ft wing span gently brushing the floor.
"H-hi... I'm CC this is Jinxx, Sammi, Andy, Jake, and he is Ashley." CC says weakly pointing to the man on the bed. I nod and plop down, Joker walking up with a deck of cards. I groan... please no...
"Ace.... I'm afraid..." She says head bowed and I nod before taking the top card. Oh joy its the Queen of Hearts. I close my eyes and burn the card in my hands. No one needs to know this. No one. This is my task to deal with, and mine alone.
