I think its 5 years now... I can't be positive but I believe it is since the world ended and we were taken captive by a pack of werewolves. I have no clue what they want with us, I mean why not just kill us and get it over with? Must they just keep torturing us for all eternity?
"A-andy?" Ashley coughs weakly and I lift my head, scanning the almost pitch black room for him. He's laying on the only bed in the room, his ribs poking out. I sigh and manage to use the last of my strength to make over to him.
"Yes Ash?" I say hoarsly and he turns his head to me, to weak to do anything else. They have been hardest on him. I dont think he can last much longer. Everything has lost its color, his eyes are almost black, his skin paler then mine. I weakly lift my hand up to brush his hair out of his face, he's so cold.
"I think this is it..." He coughs blood dripping from his chin. I take his hand in mine and sigh. My best friend is dying right in front of me and there isnt a damn thing I can do about it...
"Its alright Ash... go when you need to. You dont need to hold on for me. I'll always have you here." I say placing his hand on my heart and he sighs before closing his eyes. He's not dead but he's out. Suddenly bright red light flashes through the room and sirens blare.
"CODE ORANGE CODE ORANGE!!" Our guard screams running down the hall leaving us locked in this hell hole of a room. I havent talked to any of the others in days. I wonder how they're fairing. I lay my head back on the bed only to cough on the smell of smoke. I gag and suddenly blood squirts against the glass door. I whimper slightly as it slides open revealing....
