My Midnight Stalker

Ava's POV

I looked back at the door that was in pieces. Did he do that? I ran over to Jinxx and gave him a hug.
"You know this man?" Castiel asked.
"Yeah, he's like my best friend." Layla gave Jinxx a hug too.
"Ava, as you heard before, this is Castiel, an angel."
What? An angel?
"Oh my god. That's not possible 'cause angels don't exist. You guys are crazier than I thought."
Crap! "Sorry, I didn't meant to say that..." I really messed up! I just used God's name in front of an Angel, one of the messengers and soliders of God.

Sam laughed. "I did that the first time, too." I smiled after knowing I wasn't the only stupid one.
"Jinxx, what are you doing with an angel?" I asked. Instead of speaking, Jinxx raised his hand at the nearby door to an abandoned building. In seconds, the door was in pieces.

" You're an angel too?!" I cried. Jinxx grinned. Could this get any weirder?

Dean walked over to Castiel and they started to talk quietly.

"Jeremy, I'll see you tomorrow. I got to go take care of some things." Castiel said. Jinxx nodded in response. "Make sure you help them." In seconds, Castiel was gone. He just disappeared. I sat there with my jaw unhinged.

"How- Where-"

"He's an angel." Sam said again. It was just so unbelievable. "They can do things like that."

"Castiel said that Andy has been praying to him, but Castiel can't reach him for some reason. Castiel's going to look and see if he can find anything else." Dean said reassuringly. I sighed in relief. Andy was still alive.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"We better get going." Jinxx said.
"We?" Dean said.
"You heard Castiel." Jinxx replied, grinning. Dean groaned and Sam laughed. We walked back out of the ally in silence, the flashlights bouncing off of the walls, trash cans, and uneven ground.

"I'll just walk." Ashley said. In a flash he was gone.

"Vampire Huh?" Jinxx didn't look surprised, but didn't look calm at the same time. "I knew there was always something about him." Dean and Sam got in the front, and me and Layla got in the back. Jinxx stood outside the door and waited for Layla to move over so he could get in.

She moved over with an eye roll and Jinxx happily got in. "Is everybody in now?" Dean asked, looking into the mirror. He started the car and drove off to my house.

Ashley was waiting outside when we pulled into the driveway. "Took you long enough!" He yelled after we got out.

"Shut up." Layla yelled back. Ashley tapped his foot.
"Can you hurry up and unlock the door? It's cold outside!" Ashley whined. Jinxx ran up and held up his hand.
"Jinxx, DON'T!" Layla yelled. Jinxx laughed and put his hand down.

"Sorry, I'm just so used to doing that."

I rolled my eyes. "I kinda want my door." I took out my key and unlocked the door, Ashley soon running inside.

"Angels." Sam said, laughing.

"I'm going to bed." I said. I said goodnight to everybody and ran upstairs to my room. I changed into Andy's batman pajamas. His smell comforted me once more and I forgot about all the demons, Angels, and vampires. I fell back on the bed and gazed up at the ceiling. A knock on the door took me out of my daydream.

"Come in."

Jinxx walked in smiling. "Hey, Ava." I waved and pulled the blankets over my cold body. "Ummm.... Where am I sleeping?"
"Where are Dean and Sam sleeping?"
"They left."
"Why!" I cried. Did they not want to help us anymore?
"No! They just went to a motel. They always do that kind of stuff." He explained. I exhaled a deep breath.
"You can sleep on the couch downstairs."
He looked shocked and hurt. "Is this how you treat your guardian angel by letting them sleep on a couch?" I knew he was joking but it still sounded strange. Guardian angel. Was he really the one that was watching me and protecting me?

"Jinxx, did you mean it? I mean the guardian angel thing..." I asked. I mean, I wasn't sure now. I didn't know what was and what wasn't real.

"Ava, I think Andy wanted to be the one to tell you this, but I think you need to know now." I gulped as he sat down on the edge of my bed. "Yes, I have been protecting you. Some of your prayers have been going to me. If you ever need extreme help, pray to Castiel or me. In a way, I am your guardian angel. When, im not here, which is a lot, im in heaven. I help Castiel and work with other Angels to protect people like you. God knew you were important and special." He smiled and a tear escaped my eye.

"I knew there was always something about Ashley. I think he told Andy and they frequently went on hunts together. But Ashley never told me." Jinxx said with a sigh. He looked upset and frustrated at the same time. "CC was just CC. He didn't know about any of this stuff. Layla's told you right?"

"Demon CC? Yeah, I hear about it everyday." I said with a tiny laugh.

"It's kinda serious Ava. You know that CC's life is at stake right?" I looked up into his eyes and saw the seriousness in his eyes. I sighed.

"I'm just trying to make the best of all of this. I don't know what's going on! I don't know where Andy-" Jinxx cut me off to say something else.

"-that's not all. Andy is your real Saviour." I choked when he said saviour. That word had so much meaning to me. "I know you know he's a hunter, but he has been protecting you this whole time. Those nights when he's been gone, those days when he wasn't home, those nights you cried because you didn't know if he would be coming home." Another tear rolled down my cheek. Of course Jinxx knew of me crying every night when Andy wasn't here. "It's because he was hunting those creatures. There were and still are creatures that are after you. We're still trying to figure it out. But trust me, we'll keep you safe." Now my face was soaked in salty tears. I was silently crying the whole time he was talking. Why would anybody want me?

"Ji-Jinxx, thank you for telling me ev-everything." I said between sobs. He wrapped into a hug and I cried on his shoulder. I wanted Andy here right now.

I wanted my saviour to protect me right now. Maybe he could wake me up from this crazy dream.
