As I felt the handcuffs lock around my wrist, as I almost lost my freedom again, I heard the sound of boots clicking and people shouting. The next thing I know I was knocked to the ground and a massive headache began to spread. I tried to stand up but was immediately picked up into strong arms.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Violet?" I heard that deep voice say.
"No one deserves to be locked up." I whispered as he began running down the hallways of F.E.A.R.

"I feel like we've done this before." He grumbled, pushing the door open and running out the car. He sat me down in the passenger side.

"Did you come by yourself?" I asked.

"No one else would." He said. "Too scared."

"Ah." I nodded. We were silent for a moment as we contemplated what to say next. "I'm sorry."
But I wasn't. I wasn't sorry. I wanted to help those people more than anything and I didn't get too. Now they were stuck and I was out. How was that fair?

"It's okay." He said. "I understand why you did it."
I was silent for a moment before looking up at him. "If you could save me why couldn't you save anyone else?"

He thought for a little while, his eyebrows furrowing in concentration. I became acutely aware of how brilliant his features were and found my throat running dry. "You're...important."

"I can't be anymore important than the people stuck inside F.E.A.R. right now." I bit my lip so hard that I tasted blood and waited for him to retaliate. But it never came. He just shook his head and I because incredibly angered that he wouldn't elaborate on whatever he was trying to say.

"You are." Was all he said and I almost punched him in the face. But before I could he said,
"And you need to start believing that."

"It's hard when I don't know why." I quirked my brow.

"Well I'm not the only one who should be here when I tell you." He said, speeding up to a considerable speed.

I rested my pounding head back on the seat and let out a long sigh.

"But I'm sorry too." He said. "I should have helped you rescue them and then we wouldn't be in this mess."

And that's when I decided I trusted him.

I trusted the Prophet but no one else. And I wasn't sure I ever would.

"Violet!" I heard someone scream as I jumped out of the van. Andy's jacket was draped around my shoulders but it was almost knocked off as CC tackled me with a huge hug.

"You can't do that! We were worried sick!" Jinxx exclaimed, joining the hug next and soon I was being squished in between four wild ones. Andy stayed back, his hips leaning against the van.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to do something since no one else was.." I trailed off, sneaking a glance at Andy.

"Well don't do it again." Ashley said. "I'm glad your safe though, kid."

"Yeah, yeah." I nodded. I turned around to see Andy now behind me.

"Come on, Violet. I think it's time we find you somewhere to stay." He said his hands now on my shoulders. He led me away from the group and towards one of the structures that I had seen him go in several times.

It was made of wood and had only a flap of fabric hanging as the door.

"Isn't this your place?" I asked. He didn't talk, just kept walking until they were inside.

"I have an extra bed in here and no one else has any space." He shrugged. "If you want a place to sleep than this it."

I looked up at him to see his host blowing softly from the breeze coming through the door. His blue eyes looked worried and God did the poor guy look tired.

"Thank you." I said, biting my lip contemplating if I should do what I was thinking. Was it worth it? Would it hurt me?

I leaned in and pulled him into tight hug. I heard his breath become heavier but soon enough his hands engulfed my skinny waist.

"Just don't do it again, Violet. I don't think I could take it.."

"I won't."
