As Logan takes his shower, singing Hey There Delilah, my phone goes off. It's a text... From my dad.


Dad: What we did wasn't incest. And I'm so sorry I didn't realize how much Scout hurt you.

I roll my eyes at the Scout part.

Lila: What do you mean about the incest thing? And apology not accepted.

Dad: Your mom called me last night and said I'm not your dad. Don't tell her I told you.

Lila: You can't control me anymore, I'm across the country so goodbye and don't ever contact me again.


I turn my phone off and stare at the wall. What if he's not my dad? Well then losing my virginity to him was only illegal in one way. Wow, why would my mom lie about him being my dad? Why didn't she just get back with my real dad? This is too much.


"Lila are you okay? You look like you're having a panic attack." Logan asks and I nod.

"I just found out that my dad isn't actually related to me." I say.

"Wow, uh do you wanna talk more about this? I just need to get dressed then we can go somewhere and just talk."

"I'd like that a lot."

"Okay I'll be right back."

When he leaves, I decide to quickly change too. I finished getting changed just as he knocked on the door. I grabbed my key from the counter and left.

"You changed." He states.

"Yea I did, do you have a problem with that?" I ask.

"No, no problem. Do you wanna go to the beach and talk?" He asks.

"Sure."

We walked in comfortable silence till we got to the beach. And I have to say, Miami is beautiful, I'm already falling in love with this place. Logan takes my hand and leads me to a lovely shaded area in the sand. We both take a seat and stare off into the ocean.

"So... Tell me more about this dad thing." He insists.

"Well apparently my mom called my so called dad last night and told him that I'm not his daughter." I state.

"Does that upset you?"

I take a quick glance at Logan and then back at the waves. "No, my dad's been treating me really badly lately and I don't ever want to go back there." I take slow breaths to stop myself from crying.

"What's he been doing to you? Mind me asking."

"Do you know who my dad is?"

"Andy Biersack?"

"Yeah, he got back with his ex, Scout. She's been pulling his strings and been getting away with hurting me. I have a black eye that I'm hiding very well, and bruises that I'm hiding with a lot of foundation. And my dad comes to me and asks why I'm disrespectful to her. I never did anything, Scout's a fucking cunt!"

"Woah, language."

"It's true, here look." I pull up my top to show the massive bruise on my tummy. Logan pulls my hands away from my shirt to let it fall back down.

"I'm so sorry Lila." He breathes.

"It's okay, I'm okay now."

"Don't give me that bs, I know what ok means."

"Okay I'm Gerard Way, I'm not okay."

"And it's okay to admit that, it doesn't make you look weak, and it's nothing to be embarrassed about. It's okay to feel not okay."

"You know I thought you were gonna be like my uncle Ashley." I state.

"How so?" He asks.

"I thought you were gonna be all flirty, but you're a really sweet guy."

"Sweet guys get kisses."

"I have a boyfriend."

"So you're gonna be in a long distance relationship, how long do you think you'll last?"

"You're right."

"Of course I am, how old are you?"

"Seventeen, how old are you?"

"Twenty two, does the age difference weird you out?"

"I've been with older."

"How old?" He asks and I look at him.

"It doesn't matter anyways because we are not getting together." I state and cross my arms.

"If you answer yes to the question I'm gonna ask you, I'll buy you ice cream."

"Okay."

"Will you have sex with me?"

"Yeah, in your dreams."

"Good enough."





Andy's POV

"Andy! Your ex is here!" Scout yells and I rise from my bed.

I hear loud bitchy bickering, and then a high pitched scream. I run downstairs to the front door to see Scout passed out on the floor with a bloody nose and Juliet holding her fist.

"What the hell Jules?" I'm astonished by her actions.

"She hurt my baby." Fuck! Mommabear's here, nothing's left of Jules. "Now do me a favour and remove yourself from the stairs, I'm here to pick up Lily's belongings."

I walk upstairs and Jules follows me. She goes into Lily's bedroom and starts packing her clothes into an empty suitcase. She grabs her makeup from the bathroom, and her shoes from her closet. She turns to me with a devilish grin.

"I'll be back next week for the rest of her things, so be sure to start packing."

"Jules, things can't just end like this. I love Lily-" she turns around and punches me in my right eye. Fucking hell! I married a feisty woman.

"If you loved her you would have protected her."

She walks downstairs and places the suitcase at the door. She then drags Scout by the hair, throws her onto the living room glass coffee table, and kicks her in the stomach with her big ass heel. Scout breaks through the table and the glass stabs into her skin. I didn't bother trying to help Scout, I don't want that to happen to me. Jules then walks up to me with a big smile plastered on her face.

"Good day Andrew."

"Jules just one question. Who's Lily's real father?" I ask and regret it already. She punches me in the gut, then knees me in the groin. I fall to the ground in agony.

"You no longer have the privilege to that information. Goodbye Andrew." She takes the suitcase and walks out the door.


I need to find out who Lily's father is. Maybe if I find out for her, she'll forgive me and grow to love me like she used to. Maybe...

Notes
