Our Family

My dad walks into the living room, well dressed now and looking as hot as ever. He sees me cuddled up to Ash on the couch and clears his throat. I'm guessing it's his way of telling me to get up, he's jealous. I rise from the couch and wrap my arms around my dad.

"Looking good dad." I say as I release from the hug.

"You look beautiful Lils." He says softly.

"We should hurry, we're gonna be late." Ash says and we nod in agreement.

Once we get to the event, my dad sends me off with teens around my age, which I hate him for. I don't want to spend time with strangers, I just wanna spend time with my daddy. But instead I'm here with Copeland, Kellin Quinn's daughter, and Willow, uncle Ronnie's daughter. Plus some of their friends. All of them are younger than me, but there's this one guy who's seventeen. He's not really paying attention though, he's leaning on a wall with his face in his phone.

"Do you want to Lily?" Copeland asks knocking me back into the conversation.

"I'm sorry, what are you asking?" I ask.

Willow releases a sigh, "Do you wanna ditch and go chill at the abandoned school?" She asks.

"Uh sure, wait for me." I say and walk over to the guy on his phone. I stand in front of him until he looks up.

"Hi." He says and puts his phone away.

"A bunch of us are going to the abandoned school, you should come." I say.

"Are we even allowed to leave?" He asks.

"No, are you coming or not?" I ask.

"Yeah, sure."

"My name's Lily by the way, my dad's Andy Biersack."

"My name's Blaise, my dad's Chris Fronzak."

We walk out of the house. "Your dad is Fronzilla of Attila! I love your dad so much!" I say making him chuckle. "Why are you laughing?"

"Because you're cute."

"That's sweet, but I just got out of a relationship this morning."

"Understandable."


We get to the abandoned school and the others just stop and sit in front of the building.

"Guys, aren't we going in?" I ask.

"How? The doors are locked." Willow asks.

"Then let's not use the door. There's a ladder at the side, we can move it to the open window that enters into the gymnasium."

"Eh, but none of us are in the right clothes to go in there." Copeland says which disappoints me.

"Who cares about our clothes? This is supposed to be an adventure. Blaise are you gonna go in with me?" I ask and he nods.

"I'll follow you anywhere." He says which brings a smile to my face.

"Anyone want to join us?" I ask but silence formed over the crowd of kids in front of me. "That's alright, have fun outside."

Blaise and I move the ladder to the open window, and I have Blaise go first because I'm in a dress. As soon as we're both in the gymnasium, I put my phone's camera light on to see through the darkness. There's a little light outside, but most of the windows and doors are blocked off so it's hard to see.

"What do we do now?" He asks making a smirk form on my lips.

"Let's just walk around." I say.


We walk into the library and the place is wrecked. Shelves are smashed to pieces covering the floor. Books are partly burned. The skylight is smashed in. The walls are covered with graffiti of dicks and things like "$3 per pussy". Computer monitor screens are punched in and tables are plopped upside down.


"What do you think happened here?" Blaise asks.

I put a table right side up and take a seat on it. "You haven't heard the story of what happened here, have you?" I ask.

"Tell me about this story of yours." He requests as he takes a seat next to me.

"Well the major damage is in the cafeteria, on the other side of this place. Three former students came back to this school and no one remembered them. It's funny because of how involved they were in the school. One was the quarterback that won the finals for them four years in a row. Another was the head cheerleader, straight As and always helped out with school events. The last person was a musician. He played in talent shows and fundraisers for the school. These three former students made a huge difference for this school. They were so pissed off because of all the work they put in. So that day they came back here and blew up the cafeteria because they were informed that a staff meeting was being held in there."

"What happened to the three of them?"

"Well the cheerleader got caught, but the jock and the musician are free men."

"If they only blew up the cafeteria, why is this place a wreck?"

"Druggies." We both chuckle. Blaise takes out a hip flask, drinks a little and offers me some. I take a little and smile.

"Thanks for not being a scaredy cat like the others." I say.

"You know how you should thank me?" He asks and I shrug. "Kiss me."

I get up from the table. "I don't know Blaise, I just got out of a relationship." And I have a thing with my dad.

"Perfect timing." I roll my eyes.

I lean in and plant one on him. He returns the kiss and wraps his arms around my waist. He slips his tongue in, and boy am I enjoying this way too much. I run my hands through his hair as he lays back on the table. I release from the kiss and stare at him.


"I-I gotta go." I say getting to my feet. I walk very quickly into the gymnasium and he follows.

"Did you not like it?" He asks as I climb up the net to the window.

"It was really good, just I shouldn't have done it."

We finally get outside and he stops me before we get to the others. "What's so harmful about kissing me? You don't have a boyfriend."

"You know what, never mind what I said. It was great, I just feel like it's too soon for me to be jumping into a relationship."

"Okay, I really liked kissing you too." I blush a little. We join the others and I force them to go back to the house.


What I did was wrong, but is being with my dad right?
