Free Bird

"Hey roomie" Shay says as I walk into the room with my boxes, Holy shit you dyed your hair! It's black."
"Hey," I say, pausing to put my boxes down hug her, "It's actually my natural color. Bunk bed? Does that mean we have another room mate?"
"You sure do bitch."
I turn around and see Amelia balancing boxes.
"Oh my God no way!"
"Yes way! I call top bunk, since you got top on the bus" she laughs remembering hitting her head on Ashley and I's bunk.
"Fine. But don't move around so much."
We laugh at our tour memories and fill Shay in since she stood there completely lost.
"Knock knock." two familiar voices say
I turn to see Ashley and CC in the doorway, more boxes in their hands. I help Ashley put the boxes on my bed and Amelia helps CC.
"Thank you." we tell them
"No problem." Ashley says while putting an arm around me
"You want to come with us out to dinner tonight?" CC asks after he's done kissing Amelia
"Who's all going to be there?" Amelia asks
"Us, the guys, Jules and Alice."
"Shay wanna come?" I offer
"I don't want to impose...." she goes to decline
"NONSENSE!" Ashley screams
I hold in a laugh as he walks to her boxes and starts rummaging through her clothes.
"Babe what are you doing?"
"Shush. Leave me be.... I'm on a mission." he laughs and comes across a cute dress I've seen Shay wear to parties, "put this on, do curl your hair, it looks cute that way, and not a bunch of make-up, something natural. We will be by around seven to pick you girls up, and babe?"
"Yes?"
"Shock me tonight," he says with a flirty tone and a wink
He grabs CC and they head out the door. I stand there red and embarrassed.
"Well you heard the, lets get ready." Amelia says, a small blush on her face too
Shay is in just about as much shock as she stands there holding the dress Ashley handed to her.
"Your man has style taste." she says to me
"Yea well.... lets not make him mad. Let's 'shock him'"




At seven there is a knock on the door. The guys are here.
I open the door to see Ashley, CC, and Jake dressed very nice. when Ashley sees me his eyes go wide.
"Babe you look SEX-Y!" he exclais before kissing my forehead
"Thank you, Girls the guys are here." I shout.
Amelia walks out first and gets the same reaction from CC.
"Holy shit babe. Anyone have some water? My girl is on fire! Dayum."
She laughs and blushes. He wraps her in a hug and kisses her cheek.
Shay comes out, closing the door behind her, and Jake is a statue. He can't take his eyes off her, and she just looks around nervously. Jake whispers something to CC, and then he finally speaks.
"Hello Shay. You look beautiful this evening."
"Well thank you Jake." she says, a small smile on her face.
We get in the cars and head to dinner...
