Free Bird

"Amelia wake the fuck up!" I shout at her.
It's the last day of Warped Tour and while I have to report to the tent to get to work Amelia has a plane to catch back home and she wont get out of bed. CC isn't any help either, he took off this morning with Ashley to get food. I stare at my best friend and realize I only have one option. I grab the air horn from my bunk that I use when the guys get to rowdy. I put my ear plugs in and blow that bitch in her ear. She jolts up in her bunk and hits her head.
"What the fuck bitch?" I yells rubbing her head, "I was sleeping."
"No shit, but your plane leaves in like two hours!"
That got her up. She scrambled around the bus finding all her stuff and shoving it in her suitcase. As soon as she's finished the guys get back with food.
"Thank you so much CC for helping me try to wake up your girlfriend!" I shout at him while I grab my muffin from Ashley
"Sorry. You ready to go babe?" he asks.
"Yea," she answers, and gives everyone a hug, "I'll see you guys back in California."
With that she leaves, I peck Ashley on the cheek and head to the tent.



Amelia's P.O.V.
CC takes me to the airport and as much as I want him to come with me to make this a little easier, he has an obligation to his fans, so I hold back my tears as he hugs me tightly against him.
"You will be okay babe. Plus I'm a phone call away." he comforts me
I told CC last night why I had to leave before tour was over and he completely understood and supported me while I cried as I remembered my sister.
"Flight 101 to Tennessee." the ladies voice above says telling me my flight is boarding
I look at CC's beautiful eyes and see the light reflected in them, and I smile. He returns the smile and starts leaning towards me. Our lips meet and I wrap my arms around his neck, he holds my waist, and when our lips part I hear him whisper,
"I love you Amelia."
I feel my heart miss a beat as his words process in my head. That was the first time he told me he loved me, and here I stand looking like an idiot because my mouth can't form the words that are in my brain. Eventually I say,
"I love you too CC."
We give each other a quick peck and I run to my plane.



CC's P.O.V.
I watch my girl run towards her plane, face still red from my confession. I just told her I love her, and I do. I just wish I would've told her sooner, but I could never form the words. I talk to her everyday and I know a lot about this girl and how absolutely amazing she is. She lost her sister to cancer, and she dealt with being bullied in school, and being alone. She is so strong and I don't know how she did it. I stand in the airport and this runs through my head, then I see her, blonde hair, running towards me.
"Christian?" that familiar voice says calmly
"Hi Lauren." I answer
"What are you doing here?" she asks cheerfully like she didn't break my heart
"Girlfriend had to go home, I came with her to say goodbye."
"Oh, that's weird, my boyfriend is landing soon. Look, can we talk?"
"No. I have to get back. We go on soon."
With that I walk away from the blonde angel turned demon. I told her so much, I trusted her, and she hurt me. Just then my phone goes off. I look and see Amelia's face and read her text.
"Sorry I froze, you caught me off guard. lol. But I do love you CC. You make me happy, happier than I've been in a while. See you in a week. xxxxxoxxxx <3 your Amelia"
A smile spreads across my face as I hop in the cab and head back to the venue, ready to rock my heart out tonight for my fans, and my girl.
