Free Bird

"I wish you didn't have to go." Ashley says as he holds me in his arms
"I know, but I have classes to attend. You will be home in a few months, and we can spend quality time together before Warped Tour starts, and I'm pretty sure you're going to ask me to join you, correct?" I inform him
"You know me so well." he chuckles
"Flight 34 to Los Angeles is now boarding. Flight 34 to Los Angeles is now boarding." that annoying voice overhead says
"2 months, then you're home for a visit." I say before I kiss him.
As much as I wish this kiss could last as long as the others we have shared, it can't. It can only be a quick one because Andy and him are running late for their show. We part to quickly, and then I'm on my plane and he is gone.



When I get home, life goes back to normal, well almost normal.
"You sang on stage! In Germany!" Amelia shouts as she bursts through my dorm room door.
"Well hello to you too, how was your Spring Break?" I ask with a laugh
"Hi, boring, now back to important matters! You sang on stage and sounded amazing!"
"How do you even?"
"Really? Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YOUTUBE! Now, details!
"Not much to tell, the guys made me sing one night on the bus, then they made me do it on stage."
"You, have serious issues with details."
We laugh and end up spending the rest of the night talking about my trip and how her Spring Break was spent at home and she didn't enjoy being back in her home town. But now we are back where we belong, and life will never be boring from now on...
