Free Bird

Around seven there is a knock on my door. I jump knowing it has to be Andy, and open the door. There he is in a Misfits t-shirt and ripped jeans. Damn he looks good, well what I can see at least, stupid eye.
"Hey," I say, closing the door behind me, "you ready to go?"
"Yea," he responds, you look good by the way, he says motioning at my outfit. I look down and see I coincidentally am wearing ripped skinny jeans and a Misfits t-shirt. How could I forget I was wearing this? I just threw it on to get my dorm together, I had planned on wearing a BVB shirt to be ironic, but this is even more ironic!
I finally manage to say thank you and we walk in comfortable silence to the coffee shop while I try to remember how to get here. I make mental images of the schools library building being the last thing I see of campus, I mark the pet store three blocks from campus, and I mark the coffee shop itself, only six blocks from campus! It seems like it was so much farther that night I had gotten lost running from my mother, but it was just a straight shot down the road, a five minute walk. I must of walked in countless circles! When we get inside the smell of fresh coffee hits me like a train, and I love it!
"Hey, you're that girl from last night." says the barista when we walk in
"Sure am, I told you I would be back" I respond
"You still want that job? Mac is here, I'm sure he wouldn't mind sitting down and talking to you."
I nod and he goes and gets this Mac. He is about Andy's height with brown hair and blue eyes. He gestures to the open booth to my left and I take a seat. He asks me available hours, when I could start, and I got the job.
"I will see you here at noon tomorrow." is all he says as he stands up and walks out the door
I go over to where Andy is and see he already has a coffee in hand. When he sees me he motions for me to have a seat, and that's when I see he bought me a hot chocolate.
