I couldn't find Abbie after the show and I couldn't stop thinking about her either. I was excited I guess that she had given me her name. I just hoped that she would agree to hang out with me. It was a little late for that right now but maybe in the morning.

Ashley snapped his fingers in front of my face laughing. "What?" I asked. "That's the third time you zoned out. I was asking you about ideas for purdy girl clothing designs." I shook my head. "I don't know, man." "You're useless. Tell me about the girl." he demanded. "What girl?" I asked. He sighed "Don't play dumb. I'm not stupid. Cut the shit, man and fucking spill."

I sighed heavily. "Alright, it is a girl. Her name is Abbie and she is beautiful. She's kind of shy and keeps to herself but I really like her." I confessed. Ashley looked at me for a long second. I asumed he was taking in the information I just gave him and processing it. "Dude you gotta get this girl. I'll help you plan some really big grand gesture if you want." I chuckled at him. "No Im not looking to do anything like that. For now I think she just needs a friend." I explained. He nodded in thought. "Well maybe we could... I don't know..." he trailed off. I laughed again, "Ash it's cool I think I got this." I said waving him off. We went out to a bar with CC and had some fun. Jake stayed at the hotel to play video games and Jinxx was mixxing music or some shit.

First thing I did when I woke up was text Abbie... Hey,Abbs! wanna hang out? I didn't get a response right away so I began my day. I was stuffing my face with some frozen pancakes I heated when I got her reply. Sure. but it's not a date. I laughed to myself. It's cute that she assumes I want to get in her pants. no of course not, sweetie. We can do what ever you'd like.
No answer.

It wasn't until one in the afternoon that I got a reply. CU library, 30 min? Well okay then. Why would she want to hang out in a library? odd. Okay C U then.

I walked into the library and I saw her sitting in a comfy looking chair reading. I walked up to her. She glanced up from her book to acknowledge me but resumed her reading. I sat beside her quietly and picked up a toy train. I started driving it on her shoulders and head making quiet train noises. She finally giggled and I knew I had distracted her. I stood up and held out my hand to her silently asking if she was ready to leave. She took my hand and we left the library. Once outside I took her to the greens where I had set up a picnic under the tree where we met. She smirked at me. "I thought it wasn't a date?" she asked sarcastically. "It's not. I just didn't want you to starve or me for that matter. I'm starving. Driving a train is hard work." I said jokingly. I was rewarded with a smile from my beautiful companion. We sat down on an outstretched blanket. I had had Ashley set this up so I wouldn't be late meeting her inside the library. I went searching through the basket and found a box of condoms which I hid under the stack of paper plates we wouldn't need those yet.

I took out the sandwich stuff and also a container of salad. Ash was getting fancy on me. I told him this wasn't a date. I then pulled from the basket a cheap bottle of champagne and two glasses. "Really?" I said out loud. Abbie looked at me in shock. She had been zoning out. I held the champagne bottle up. "I didn't pack this I swear." I said hoping she wouldn't run off. Instead she threw me off completely and laughed. Maybe I was doing better than I thought...
