Chapter 35

AJ’s POV
Today Juliet, Ella, Sammi, Lauren and I are taking the private jet to Kassy and I’s to our mansion in Virginia. We are arriving a week early so we can set everything up and make sure everything is perfect for the wedding.

Kassy’s POV
(Time jump to the show in Virginia.)
We are finally in Virginia, we have a show tonight and then right after the show we are driving to my mansion where the wedding will be held. The girls are just about to get her to watch the show and right now we are doing the signing.
“Kassy! Kassy!” Ash called pulling me from my thoughts.
“Hmm?”
“This girl just asked for your autograph.”
“Oh, sorry.” I then took the paper and signed before handing it back the poster “Here you go.”
“What were you thinking about?” Ash asked as kids continued to walk through.
“The wedding, the twins and just this life in general.”
“Well as long as you’re thinking positively that’s all that matters to me.”
“I’m not a negative thinker.” I said and slapped his chest hard enough to knock the wind out of him but not hard enough to do damage.
“Owww, what was that for?”
“You were being snarky.”
“Okay I will own up to it if you say sorry for hitting me.”
“You sound like a weak child but fine, Ash I’m sorry for hitting you and if I just offended you.” I said pleading with puppy dog eye for him to cave and kiss me, because I know if I offend him he won’t kiss me.
“You know I can’t handle your puppy eyes, come here.” HE said pulling me close for a sweet, patient but short kiss. We then finished the signing and went back to the dressing room to find boy’s girlfriends and AJ.
“Hey there prego, long time no see.” AJ said in a harsh tone.
“Drop the act AJ, everyone’s believing it and get over here and hug me.” I said opening my arms for a hug.
“I missed you Jerk.” She said as we hugged.
“I missed you too bitch.” I say before we let go of each other.
“You two are weird.” CC said from where he sat on one of the coaches.
“Says the man who gets called C bear and calls Kassy K bear.” Andy said.
“Shut up.” CC said pouting, but he didn’t pout for long because Lauren sat in his lap.
“So how’s tour been with this group of goofballs?” Juliet asked as are sitting around before the show.
“They act like idiots at times but they are also really sweet at times; overall I say they still act like they’re in high school.” I said receiving glares from the guys. “So is everything set up for the wedding?”
“Yes it is and all the heads are in their rooms, well except for Derik one of his sons is here in his place.” AJ said.
“What heads?” Andy asked.
“The first immortals in each blood line.” AJ responded.
“So we all get to meet the first member in our family line?” Jinxx asked.
“Yes, it is custom when one member of the original ten marries another, whether[DP1] [DP2] [DP3] [DP4] it be a grandchild or a grandchild related to the original ten. There has to be at least one reprehensive from the original ten. It is a special occasion that all ten families will be gathered together.” I said.
“Five minutes.” Eric sad popping his head in the room.
“Thanks Eric.” I said as we all stood up to head to the stage.
“Who was that?” AJ asked as she walked next to me.
“Eric our sound guy.”
“Single?”
“Yes.”
“Will you introduce us?”
“Yes but after the show.”
“K, thanks.” And with that we were side stage and the guys were doing their chant and give my stomach a kiss before he kissed their girls and ran on stage.
“What was with the belly kissing?” Ella asked me.
“Ash did it one night and the rest of the guys thought it would be funny to do it to and now they do it before every show.” I say.
“They are complete goofs.” Lauren said. We then listen to the show and then I went on stage for Set the World on Fire and Resurrect the Sun.
After the show we all drove over to the mansion and then AJ and I gave the guys a tour and showed them the App for the map and the heritage books.
“So do you guys want to meet the heads of the family?” AJ and I asked together.
“Absolutely.” They all responded. We then walked to the private dining room where the family heads are.
“Kassandra Elizabeth, it is so good to see you.” Amelia said.
“Thank you Amelia and call me Kassy.”
“Kassy, we were told that there are family members of ours here.” Edwin said in a French accent.
“Yes there are.”
“Well tell us don’t leave us in suspense.” Dragon said.
“Dragon your grandson Ashley, he is also the man I am marring.” I say.
“Hello I am Dragon from the Faimetta family.” Dragon said as he grasped Ashley’s fore arm in a traditional greeting.
“Amelia your grandson Jinxx, you two have classical music in common and I think you’ll have a lot to talk about.”
“Hello I’m Amelia from the Ender family.” Amelia said as I walked to Natrix with Andy in tow.
“Natrix this is Andy he is your sisters grandchild.” I say.
“Hello Andy I’m Natrix from the Askook family.” Natrix said.
“Helena this is Juliet your brother’s granddaughter.” I say pulling Juliet with me.
“I’m Helena from the Hacate family.” Helena said as she and Juliet start talking.
“Evelyn this is your granddaughter Ella.” I say as Ella stands next to me.
“Hello Ella I’m Evelyn from the Eulalie family, it is nice to know that there is another in the family with the letter E as their first initial.” I then grabbed Jake’s arm and pulled him over to Rogan.
“Rogan this is Jake he is from Derik’s sister’s line.” I say.
“Hello Jake I’m Rogan from the Reith family; I am the eldest living member of this family after AJ finally killed the bestirred I had to call my father.” Rogan said, he is nothing like Derik which makes me happy.
“Sammi I want you to meet your Edwin.” I say calling Sammi over from where she was by Jinxx. “Edwin your granddaughter Sammi.”
“Sammi, it is an honor to meet you. I’m Edwin from the Ursa family.” Edwin said in a stuck up tone.
“Be nice Edwin; I’ve known you for thousands of year and I know that tone.” I say smacking the back of his head. “Ruth I want you to meet Lauren your granddaughter.” I say moving on.
“Lauren, I’m Ruth from the Perdita family.” Ruth said. After I finished introducing everyone, except CC because he is related to AJ, I walked over to Ash to see him still talking to Dragon.
“Hey Kassy you look tired.” Dragon said.
“You know you have never gotten rid of that snarky audited of yours, you should really work on that.” I say as if I’m higher up then he is, which I am my father was the leader.
“I apologize Kassy if I offended you.” Dragon said as he lowered his head in respect.
“Dragon I accept your apology, in the future watch your words more.” I paused to see everyone in the room staring at me. “If you all don’t mind it has been a long day and I would like to go to my chambers; Ashley if you would join me.”
I then left the dining room with Ash not too far behind me, “What was that?” he asked as we began going upstairs.
“What was what?”
“The authority, respectable thing you just did; you even had a hint of an accent.” Ash said.
“That was me being formal, I’m sorry I don’t like to show that side of me unless I’m in a room with one of them.” I said as we walked down different hallways to my room.
“You don’t have to apologize. What was the authority thing?”
“I’m the eldest and the highest member of the families; my father was what you would call a chief of the tribe.” I say as we finally reach my room.
“Wow so you are the quote on quote ‘chief’ of the people downstairs.”
“Yes, now can we please go to sleep it’s been a long day and I would love to fall asleep with you right now.” I say as I climb into bed.
“I would love to but one more question first.”
“What is it?”
“Do we have to treat you differently now?”
“No, but when the heads are around I would appreciate it if you and the other guys treat me with a little more respect, because if you don’t the laws state that you would lose your existence if you don’t.”
“Where are the laws so we can all know them?”
“They are on the app I had you download.”
“Okay,” he then kissed me goodnight and said “I love you.”
“I love you too.” I said before I snuggled into his side and fell asleep.
