Third Person POV

Borden was put into prison. Someone had found out he went into the dark forest. Jorden refused to talk to anyone. Especially Grant. How could someone so sweet want their father to put her best friend in jail?

Kenna was dead, and Borden only had a few hours left. “Hung at midnight tonight…”
The though swirled around Jordan’s head. She couldn’t think straight. She sat in her room. Sitting crisscrossed on her bed. He red hair a tangled mess from the past two days. Her eyes were blood shot from the nonstop crying. Her mother and sister only mourned a good future husband to their littlest.

“Perk up hun.” Grant said walking into her room.

She glared at him and then wondered how he had gotten in. “My only friends are dead.”

“Borden still has a few hours.” She could hear the smile on Grant’s voice as he sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her. “Besides, Kenna is better off in the ground anyway.”

Jordan stood up and backed away from him, pointing angrily. “Get out of my face! How dare you tell me that my best friend deserves to be dead!?”

“Whoa there babe…” Grant stood up as well and put his hands up in defense.

When he tried to come close to her, she slapped him. “Get. Out.” She spit.

Grant held the side of his face, “you’ll regret that.” He nodded once and left without another word.

Jordan sat back on her bed and sobbed into her hands. She had to save Borden. There was no other option.
