Make Me Feel Alive

After Truth

I woke up slowly, feeling warm. Considering I only ever kept a sheet on the bed, I knew there was only one reason, and it definitely wasn't Toby.
I glanced back, raising my head slightly. Ashley had slept over, and actually stayed the entire night.
Half the time he left, which didn't bother me as much as it probably should have.
He had his arm curled around my waist, and his hair was covering the part of his face that wasn't buried in the pillow. Last night had been so weird, as if he'd actually cared a little bit or something.
I laid back down, stretching slightly. I felt sort of stiff, but considering our ventures of last night, I wasn't surprised. I got to hand it to Ashley, he really knew how to get my mind off things, though I'm pretty sure he'd got more out of me during our little game of truth then I had him.
I did want to know more about him, and it felt weird to google him and read what was there. I mean, you wouldn't do that with a normal guy, would you?
Unless it was a background check or something.
Errr.
I shuffled again, needing to pee. I couldn't stay in bed all morning, as much as I wanted to enjoy the fact he'd stayed over.
I glanced back, and then gently crawled out of bed, glad I'd thrown some pajamas on during the night.
I crept to the bathroom, and then headed for the kitchen, cutting the coffee pot on and sticking all the leftovers from yesterday in the fridge before they completely ruined, or Toby got into them.
I yawned, seeing it was almost noon. We always slept so late.
I shuffled, pulling some coffee cups out of the cabinet and pouring the last of my chocolate creamer in mine. I took a sip, and grimaced. It was almost bad, but I wasn't about to waste a cup of coffee over it.
I walked back into the bedroom, and grinned, leaning against the doorframe as I looked at Ashley. I should take a picture. He was sprawled across the bed, sheet up to his waist as he slept, his face still in the pillow and Toby sniffing him suspiciously.
I shooed Toby away and leaned down, poking Ashley in the shoulder. He mumbled something and turned his head the other way, ignoring me.
"Ashley," I shook his shoulder. "Wake up."
He continued to ignore me, and pulled the pillow over his face. I pressed my lips together, and leaned over him, glaring down at his closed eyes.
I huffed, and forcefully rolled him on his back, pulling the pillow away. He groaned, and put his hands over his face. "Ashley, wake up! It's like noon."
"Too early," he muttered at me. I bit my lip thoughtfully. "Ashley," I walked my fingers slowly up his chest. "You can't sleep all day."
He didn't respond.
I pressed my lips against his jaw, trailing my way down to his ear.
"Come on," I murmured, "your coffee will get cold."
His lips twitched, but he still pretended not to hear me. Fine. If he wanted a battle, I'd give him one.
I crawled over him, placing my thighs on either side of his hips as I tugged on his wrists. I peeled his hands away, and he squeezed his eyes closed, trying and failing to repress a smile.
I placed his hands around my waist, feeling them twitch as my tongue flicked across his chest.
"You can't keep this up," I told him, my breath hot in his ear. His chest started to shake with laughter.
I was running out of provocative things to do without going hardcore, I pursed my lips and raised up, frowning down at him.
I knew my fingers were cold, so I made sure I pressed them down against his skin firmly, getting a shiver out of him.
His eyes flashed open and then he was rolling, pinning me under him, his fingers slipping through mine as he forced them by my head.
"You, are being a tease," he told me, nuzzling my shoulder, and I giggled.
"You can't sleep all day!" I told him, the sheet separating us. "It's noon."
"So? I've slept later before." I sent him a look, and squirmed, trying to get away.
"Ash, up!" I ordered him, staring up at him from the pillow, giving up on escaping. "I don't like cold coffee."
"You can make more," he told me, pressing a kiss to my nose. "But I'll be out of creamer!"
"So? I'll buy you more," he muttered, and his teeth caught my lower lip, tugging lightly.
I huffed, turning my face away. "I need some coffee. And you need some pants."
"Fine, drink your coffee," he rolled off me. "But I'm not putting on pants."
I grinned, scrambling to my feet. I turned, frowning at him as he lounged on the bed, my eyes flicking to where the sheet barely covered his hips.
Dammit.
"You owe me creamer," I muttered, and he sat up with an impish grin. He reached forward, his hands resting on my hips.
He pressed a kiss to my stomach through my shirt.
"I'll buy you all the creamer you want," he chuckled, and pulled me over him.
