If Heaven were on Earth

Nikki's POV:

"You guys suck at this game!" I laughed, furiously tapping ion the controller's multicoloured buttons.

Kellin groaned, tossing his controller into the couch in frustration, "you're cheating!"

I gasp, "am not!"

"Are too!" He fires back, and Alex pushes us apart, laughing at our childish reaction. "Alright, break it up you two. It's just a game."

I raise an eyebrow at him, "that explains why someone was pouring earlier."

He throws his hands up in the air in exasperation, complaining loudly about how he's surrounded by children. I laugh and shake my head at him before squeezing in between Oli and Cody on the couch, tossing the pouting Alex my controller. He grins and picks it up, kissing my cheek in appreciation to which I roll my eyes.

I relax into the cushions, leaning my head on Cody's shoulder when a loud slam indicates the front door opening. I jump making the guys burst out laughing and I shoot them a heated glare.

"Oh, did I forget to mention that Andy and the guys were coming?" Alex mumbles, eyes glued to the TV.

I scowl and hit him across the back of the head, nervously anticipating Andy's overreaction. I shrink back against Oli and right on cue, my boyfriend bursts through the room with his friends, all who have red-rimmed eyes. I feel myself tense up and I cross my arms over my chest, sitting up.

Andy's eyes meet mine, and an apologetic look glints in them, which quickly turns stormy at Oli's arm wrapped defensively around my waist.

"Anyone care to explain what the fuck is going on here?" He snaps.
