If Heaven were on Earth

Nikki's POV:

The following day at school, I received several weird yet concerned looks from my classmates, but no one decided to speak up. I did my best to ignore their strange stares, focussing mainly on getting through the day without ripping my hair out. My pounding headache had yet to fully disappear, but the stupid medication was finally beginning to work a little, plus Andy had massaged my temples for what seemed like hours last night until I fell asleep in his arms. When i had woken up he was gone, but in his place there had been a tiny note saying that he had just gone home to shower and change and that he'd be back to take me to school. He was such a sweetheart.

Now, in the middle of my history class, my headache had substantially worsened, and I found it quite hard to pay attention to the seemingly pointless lesson. I wasn't planning on being a historian or a boring person, so what was the point to all this nonsense?

I had tried my best to relax as best as i could and drown out my teacher's monotone voice with the book I was currently reading, but even that just made my head pound even harder. I internally screamed when I glanced at the clock and saw that we still had thirty minutes until the school day ended.

A light knock caught my attention and my eyes flicked to the door, where a grinning andy was. He winked slyly at me before turning his attention to my boring-ass history teacher.

"Mr. Biersack, what a surprise. What may I do for you?" He asked, his voice incredibly boring.

Andy's eyes flashed towards mine for a split second before returning to my teacher, an easy smile on his full lips. "I was just here to escort Miss Taylor to Mr Johnson's office."

I gulped at the mention of our principle; had I done something wrong?

My teacher, Mr. Kent eyed Andy suspiciously, "and why couldn't he buzz her down like usual?"

Andy shrugged, "beats me. I was just in his office and he asked me to call her down," he says, nodding in my direction.

"no surprise there," Mr. Kent states dryly, but gestures for me to grab my stuff.

I scramble out of my seat, grabbing my bag and my book before swiftly exiting the hot room behind Andy. The second the door shuts Andy has me pinned against the lockers, his warm breath fanning across my face as he places his hands on either side of my face, glancing down at me, smirking. I suck in a sharp breath, pressing further against the lockers.

"You look absolutely stunning," he purrs, his eyes running up my form. I bit my lip unconsciously, not noticing anything exceptionally special about my clothes other than the fact that they hug my body more.

"So, does the principle really need to see me?" I ask, trying my best to ignore the way Andy's presence makes my body buzz with electricity.

He shakes his head, dipping his head down so his lips press harshly against the skin of my throat, sucking at the already marked flesh. I had the hardest time this morning covering that up with foundation and concealer. "Someone could see us," I hiss as he continues his gentle assault on my throat.

He hums in response, pulling away with a devilish smirk on his lips. "Fine, we can go somewhere 'private'. C'mon," he grabs ahold of my hand, beginning to lead me away.

"But I have class," I whine, even though I really don't want to go back there.

As if reading my thoughts, he gives me a pointed look and I shut up instantly, allowing for myself to be led away.

"How come you were in the principle's office?"

He laughs, "you don't want to know."
