If Heaven were on Earth

Andy's POV:

Oli's eyes never left Nikki as the doctor surveyed her. Her eyes didn't leave him either. And mind never left her beautiful face, if only to shoot Oli a glare.

Nicole has a concussion. Nothing to serious, but it still was enough to freak her out. That and the fact that she's underage and needs her parents to sign a few forms, as well as she technically can't be released without a guardian signature. Which basically fucks us.

"Andy, what am I going to do?" She breathes as soon as the doctor leaves, "my parents will kill me if they find out! I can't go home, please Andy, don't make me go home! Oli, don't let him take me back," I plead with them both, tears filling my eyes.

Andy sighs and pulls me into his arms, running a comforting hand down my back and kissing my hair. Oli tenses at our public display of affection but says nothing about it.

"Don't worry Nikki, I won't let you go back there, and they will not do anything to you, I promise." He assures me, stroking my cheek.

I lean into into his touch smile slightly, but Oli coughs suddenly, jerking us apart. Andy sends Oli another glare which he doesn't even acknowledge.

"Someone care to explain what the hell you're talking about?" He suddenly snaps.

I still, having forgotten that he was here, and bite my lip nervously. Andy understand my silent plea and turns to Oli, voice hard, "her parents hurt her. She's afraid of what they'll do if they find out, and she can't leave the hospital without them signing some forms."

Oli nods in understanding and crosses his arms again. We are out of options.

"Andy, pass me my phone. I need to call my parents."

also, I've noticed this on my other stories as well, and I honestly feel bad for asking this. But why does this story have so many subscribers but not that many votes? Seriously, if you like it enough to subscribe, you should be able to vote. It doesn't take long, and it makes the author feel appreciated
