The Puppet Master

*Jenny's POV*
"I wonder what's still to discover in my dreams" I thought as I turned off my lights "So I can connect with Emilie's dreams then why not with other people? I mean why should we two be all alone with those experiences? It was impossible to be alone with this gift"

I wanted to sleep but I couldn't stop thinking about it. My head just didn't stop talking.
"Ok, I'm gonna find out more when I'm asleep so stop thinking about it"
With that it was nearly completely quiet inside of me.
A last deep breath to relax then I fell asleep.

The darkness again... then it became brighter and clearer but still real slow. Weird... this time there weren't any noises.
I saw down on me. Did I float? I didn't feel anything. Around me it was completely white.
So... where were I?
Was something wrong with me?

It wasn't a normal dream anymore. Of course the atmosphere was still super extreme but why weren't I appearing on a normal natural place? It made me doubt.

I had to do something to get out of there. ...Was it possible to get into another dream? I mean of a different person? There was no case against it, wasn't it?. But the next question was: how?
If I imagined that person he or she was going to appear in front of me.. and it wasn't the real one as far as I knew.
Maybe thinking the way the person thought was going to teleport me.

I decided to go into Leyla's head. She always knew how to make me calm down and this "dream" made me a little panic-stricken.
I closed my eyes "Ok...now I only have to think the way she does... Well, I wonder when the Arctic Monkeys are going to publish another new album. I love them. Indie rock is cool."
No surprise to me when my eyes where opened again - nothing.
I wasn't really good at thinking the way other people do.
"Maybe it's possible when I imagine I was her.. So, my hair is long and curly. My hair is very dark but with a little red in it. My eyes are a deep brown and I'm pretty small"
Nothing again.
It frustrated me to be honest. I wanted to get out of this empty room - it scared me.
This time I closed my eyes and acted thoughtless "I am inside of Leyla's head!! NOW!"

Everything went dark again and my head hurt a little. Were I about to wake up?
The smell of old books, wood and coffee ran into my nose.
Slowly I was able to see again. I stood inside of a library
"Oh, Jenny!" a familiar voice said "What are you doing here?"
I turned around. It was Leyla of course reading a book. Yes, it had to be a dream of her - she's book obsessed.
"I-is this your dream?" I was still a little astonished. I didn't expect it was that simple to enter other dreams. My head still hurt - maybe it took too much power from me.
My bestie shook her head "No?"

WHAT
It had to be a dream. It was that super real again. Maybe she was confused? ...Or maybe she didn't know it was a dream?
It might be that there was something dangerous about to happen if I had told her the truth. I just didn't know enought about this whole dreaming thing

"Oh..uhm.. so... Yes, fine" I nodded "Uh... I'm gonna read a book"
"You? Reading a book?" she laughed "maybe it is a dream. This is just damn unexpected"
I had an unsure and pretty awkward laugh "Uhaha... yes, maybe I'm going crazy"

But before I was able to grab something it became blur and dark before I heard my phone ringing.
I was awake again... Leyla wrote me a message
"Hey, I've just had a really weird dream! Guess!"

Shall I tell her about it? Was it a good idea? I mean what was going to happen if she knew?
But perhaps it wasn't that awesome.
1. She'd think I was going crazy 2. Leyla is naive but doesn't believe in supernatural stuff 3. She'd tell our whole town. It was impossible for her to keep secrets. It's just her character.

"I have no idea! Tell me:3"
I hesitated but then sent the message. Yes, maybe that was the right way
