Let Shadows Die

Andy could tell Hope was deep in thought. Her next words took him by suprise. He had not expected them.
"Change me, Andy. It's the only way I can protect myself. I know you said I'm already semi immortal because of the mark, but tonight was a close call. I don't want to take that chance again."
"Hope, you don't have to do this. I can protect you. Being a half-breed isn't easy. We're the most feared of all the creatures. Most everyone hates us. If I change you, there's no going back."
"I know, Andy, you've told me that before. But I want to be with you always. This is the only way to mae sure of it."
"If you really want this, I'll do it, but it's not an easy process, baby. I want you to understand that."
"I trust you, Andy. I'm not afraid."

He reached out and touched her face. "Alright. Do you want to do this now or wait a few days?"
She looked him in the eye when she answered. "Now. The sooner, the better."

He kissed her. "Lie back on the bed." He said as he helped her to do just that. "I need you to trust me completely. Don't try to fight me at any point. I don't want to hurt you on accident."

She nodded. "I love you, Andy."
"I love you too, Hope."

With those words he sank his fangs into her neck.
