Let Shadows Die

Andy had put Hope into a deep sleep. He could save her, but he couldn't do it alone. He needed to be able to carry her without causing her pain. He made it back to the hotel in record time using his vampire speed. He went directly to CC's since it was closest. He used his foot to kick the door. Lauren answered the door. Andy pushed past her. CC jumped up from the bed.

"What happened?" He asked alarmed.
"Hunters." Andy answered as he lay Hope on the bed.
"What's going on?" Lauren asked clearly freaking out. He could only imagine what she must be thinking seeing him covered in blood and an unconcious Hope in his arms.
"Lauren, baby I'll explain everything, but right now I need you get the guys. Can you do that?" CC replied.
"Yes." And she left.

With Lauren out of the room, they got to work. Andy didn't want to have to change her. He would do that only as a last resort. He started giving her his blood. Their blood had healing properties. When he was sure he had given her enough, he had CC pull the stake out. To his relief, she began to heal. He put more blood into the wound itself. Within minutes she was almost completly healed.

When she woke she would be sore, but alive. To Andy that was all that mattered. He had come very close to losing his mate. She had seen him kill those men. He hated that, but it was either kill them or lose his mate. His choice had been clear.
