After Hope left, Andy looked down at the man and bared his teeth. He let a growl escape his throat. God how he wanted to kill him. The only thing that kept him from doing so was Hope. He didn't want to frighten her by coming back covered in this asshole's blood. The man was looking up at Andy crying like a little bitch. He wouldn't kill him but he would sure as hell make sure this guy had nightmares for the rest of his life.

After Andy planted some ideas in the guy's head about how to treat a lady, he went back to his room. He would be stuck in werewolf form until morning. He just hoped he hadn't frightened Hope too badly.

When he entered the room she threw herself into his arms. She was crying. He wrapped his arms around her, careful not to accidently scratch her with his claws. He picked her up and carried her to the bed where they sat until she stopped crying.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to be so clingy."
"Hope, don't apoligize. Some guy just tried to rape you. You have every right to be upset. I just wish I had been here. I should have been able to protect you. Instead I was out worrying if I was going to frighten you when I came back from hunting looking like this."
"Andy, you have to hunt. As far as you frightening me, I know you would never hurt me."

He looked down at her. She was the most amazing person he had ever met and she was his. Juliet had called him a freak of nature, but Hope looked at him as no one ever had before.

Looking up at him, she reached up and touched his face. "You're amazing." She said in an awed voice. "Your eyes are beautiful. They're glowing this vivid shade of blue. How could you think you'd frighten me, You're beautiful."

The feeling those words gave him was undescribable. How could he be so lucky? She had been accepting of him and what he was since the first time they met. If more humans were like her, his kind wouldn't have to hide in the shadows.

"Hope, my love, you are the one who is amazing and beautiful. I'm a monster in the eyes of most humans I've met who see my true nature. How can you stand to let me touch you when I look like this?"
"Because I love you." She answered without hesitation.

He pulled her into his arms. "I love you, too, Hope. Will you come with me for the rest of the tour and come back to L.A. with me?"
"Yes, Andy. I would follow you to the ends of the earth." She said as she snuggled up to him.

With those words, he pulled her to where they were both lying back on the bed. He stroked her hair being careful of his claws. After a little while she fell into a peaceful sleep. Soon after he followed suit, happy that they had made it through there first full moon.
