Let Shadows Die

Andy hadn't been entirely honest with Hope. Though it was true he needed to hunt, the real reason he was so restless was because of the full moon. When the moon rose the urge to change had hit him. Because he was half vampire, he could hold the change off for a little while. When midnight came he would be unable to hold it off any longer.

He wasn't sure how Hope would react to his werewolf side. She was aware he was a half-breed, but he worried if she saw him wolfed out it might frighten her. He was already tall, over six feet. That was over a foot taller than her, but when he was changed he was closer to eight feet. Not to mention his fangs and claws. She had seen his fangs already, but hadn't been aware of it. When his vampire fangs slid down so did his werewolf fangs, as a result he had double fangs. One set slightly shorter than the other.

He was on his way back to the hotel when Hope screamed inside his head.
"Andy, I'm in trouble. He's gonna rape me."
"I'm coming. Hold on, baby."

Because of the connection between them, he knew exactly where to find her. He used his vampire speed to reach them in time. When he reached them, he saw the guy was fondling her breasts. He was pissed. This guy was touching what was his. Hope was his mate. No one was going to touch her like that but him.

He had been holding the change off, but now he let go and he felt the change happen.
