Sincerly, Rose ~ Andy Biersack
Ch.1
--Rose's POV--
I looked the house up and down. It was big. Much bigger than our old house. Almost a mansion.
My dad was already inside unpacking and, ultimately, being more productive than me. I couldn't help it. I was staring blanky at the large garden.
When my dad said the house was big, I didn't know he meant this big. As I stood on the lawn, my eyes could barely soak it all in. Not to mention the high school, which we just dropped by at to get my paperwork taken care of.
Today was the big day.
Today was moving day.
The high school seemed nice. It was a big campus, and I met all my teachers. They seemed friendly. I always liked school.
The city itself was pretty. I had never lived in a city like this before. The skyscrapers seemed to stare down at me, wondering why I was here and not back in Wilkenshire where I belonged. But, to be honest, I was excited to get out of the small town.
"Rose? My dad called. "Come in here and help me move this table!"
I could barely tear my eyes from the brightly colored flowers to shout back an, "Okay!"
Dad and the movers had already moved a lot of our stuff in. It looked nice. I still didn't understand why we needed such a big house; it was only the two of us.
It had been three months since my mom died. She was going to the grocery store to get me medicine because I was sick, even though I told her not to. It was raining really hard outside. But she went anyways. A car on the freeway lost control, and it hit her dead on. Doctors say she died on impact and it was quick. I wish I could believe that.
And now, we were here. In Camdon. Dad said it would help take the memories away. Although I didn't believe him at first, seeing the town made me feel otherwise. A new school, a new home, new people, it was the perfect oppurtunity to start over.
Or so I thought.
