Shadow Children

Vic’s POV:
“DISGRACE!” I yelled running after Kellin when he ran out the door. He stopped running and turned around.
“Why did he do that to her?” He whispered as he pushed his hair back and sat down on the driveway slowly.
“Kellin we don’t even know exactly what happened, don’t beat yourself up over this…”
“But I’m her friend; I’m always there for her… I care… she’s like my other daughter which is weird because it’s not even that big of an age difference. But you get what I mean, right?”
“Yeah, I do. Just quit beating yourself up over this…”
“I got to get back to Copeland, Liam, Rowan, and Katelynne… I’ll be back tomorrow to hear what you guys tracked.”
“See you! Tell the fam to come over for dinner one of these days!”
“What would you make? Tacos?”
“You know me so well…” I smiled and waved goodbye. I walked back inside and heard Mike and Jay tracking already.
“How did that sound?” She asked putting the headphones around her neck.
“How about you come outside and listen?” Mike asked with a smug smile on his face. I knew that smile… he didn’t even use the soundboard, he just sat back and pressed play. Jay had a huge grin on her face.
“There’s no way I sound like that! How did you make it sound so good?” She asked in utter disbelief.
“I ate a taco…” He said pointing to the plate next to him.
“No seriously,”
“He doesn’t even know how to use the sound board!” I said from where I was standing.
“Don’t tell everybody my secret!” Mike yelled. Jay laughed.
“Thanks for putting me on you record…” She said, “I never thought that people would actually like the way I sounded.”
“Jay, we all think you’re amazing… why wouldn’t we put you on our record?” I asked pulling her into a hug. The doorbell rang.
“It’s Jaime!” Mike yelled.
“Hide the food!” I yelled. Jay laughed.
“I’m going to be in my room…” She said.
“Got it!” I yelled.
“Mike!” I heard Jaime yell.
“Dude you’re early!” I yelled.
“I thought it would be best if I started tracking early. You know how I always end up messing up…” He said back.
“Well tony should be here any minute…” Mike started to say as Tony walked straight through the door.
“What? Am I late or something?” He asked.
“No. Not at all!”


Jay’s POV:
I heard the guys start practicing, so I decided to take a shower. Like always I opened iTunes and started playing my favorite songs playlist. Just take Kiss, Motley Crue, some Bruce Springsteen, Dobie Gray’s give me the beat boys, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, and The Goo-Goo Dolls and that is my play list. I have more favorite songs, but it’s so long already that I decided to just break up all of the play lists. I hit play and then jumped into the shower not realizing that I forgot to lock the bathroom door. Iris, by the Goo-Goo Dolls, came on and I started singing forgetting that this wasn’t my house and the guys were trying to practice down stairs. When I’m in the shower I tend to forget what’s going on around the house, so I didn’t realize the pounding of feet running up the stairs. The doorknob jingled and Jaime busted into the bathroom. I freaked out and fell down wrapping the shower curtain around me.
“What the fuck Jaime?” I screamed.
“Sorry!” He whined throwing his hands up in defense, “I thought your voice was amazing…”
“What the fuck Jaime?” Tony yelled walking into the bathroom, “You don’t just walk in into a girl taking a shower!”
“Exactly!” I exclaimed.
“but… but, I just wanted to tell her that her voice was pretty!”
“Hey, can you guys do me a solid and… GET OUT OF THE FUCKING BATHROOM FOR CHRIST SAKE?” I yelled. I just wanted to finish showering, besides shampoo was getting into my eyes. They slowly walked out of the bathroom scared of what was going to happen if they didn’t.

CC’s POV:
Andy came back and told us Jay didn’t want to be found for a while. I knew it was all my fault. The tears started streaming down my face. One after another after another.
“This is all my fault…” Sob, “I shouldn’t of yelled at her…” another sob, “all she needed was a hug…”
“CC it’s okay, she’s just a sensitive person…” Blade whispered pulling me into a hug. My sobbing mellowed out and I stood there; Blade holding me up.
“How can I tell her I’m sorry if she doesn’t even want me to know where she is?” I asked eventually.
“CC use your brain. There are many ways to do that…” Jinxx said.
“It’s not like I can send her flowers or chocolate, or even a card…”
“You’re not thinking…” Jinxx said.
“I am thinking! Jeremy, I AM!” I screamed with anger ripping through my voice that I even scared myself.
“Follow me…” Andy grabbed my hand and dragged me behind him. Soon enough he was opening the door to the bat cave, but I didn’t even see how he did it.

Hey guys. I've been thinking of ending this story pretty soon. I mean i'm glad that i've been able to make everyone smile at least once, but i've been running out of ideas. And every single time i try to write i just can't... I don't know... Also shits been happening in my life and i just don't have the strength to keep writing, i bet that sounds stupid... I guess i should tell you that i've decided to make myself feel happiness again instead of trying to make everyone else happy. I'm sorry, but if there are any loose ends you want me to tie up just leave a comment or send me a message, if you are even still reading this story... Well I'm sorry and this goes for you too; stop trying to make everyone else happy because you deserve to place your happiness in front of theirs.
