I ended up waking up at noon.
“Good you’re up, now I can move!” Jagger smirked at me as I sat up. Beck was talking on the phone to someone.
“Is she up yet?” He half yelled, half whispered.
“No shit Sherlock!” I called. He handed me the phone.
“GOOD MORNING!” A familiar voice called.
“Hi…” I said in the agitated I-just-woke-up voice.
“No reason to get your panties in a twist, I’m not even at your house!” I heard in the back round. Blade did a spit take, I’m pretty sure he heard that.
“Purdy Perv!” I yelled.
“I told you she knew it was us!” I heard Andy say.
“ANYWAYS… BE AT THE VENUE IN TWO HOURS! WE ARE GOING TO TRACK SOON!” CC yelled back into the phone as he hung up.
“I do not like that Ashley guy at all!” Blade said as he wiped up the floor. Jagger, Niki, and I walked upstairs to get ready. I ran into the bathroom and straightened my hair next to Niki. Jagger walked in, in his boxer briefs, and started doing his makeup. When I was done we switched places, so he could straighten his hair.
“Woah, little sis in a bathroom with a guy in boxer briefs… should I ask what happened?” Blade asked in a serious voice after running upstairs. We all started laughing. I walked into Niki’s room to change. I pulled on a Van Halen shirt, black skinny jeans, and black gloves with skeleton hands. I walked downstairs.
“Beck! Where’s my guitar?” I called once I jumped to the landing.
“Everything is still in the car!” He shouted back from the kitchen. I walked in on him cooking bacon.
“BACON!” I yelled jumping on his back. He handed me a plate and filled it up, I let him eat some. When the others were ready we jumped into the truck and drove back to the venue. Ashley and CC were waiting for us at the backstage door.
“Don’t we need to track in a studio?” Blade asked as they showed us around, I kept spacing in and out. They wouldn’t answer the question. We walked into a dressing room still talking to CC and Ashley when the door slammed shut.
“AHHHH!” Andy yelled as he attacked us with silly string, a man that I didn’t meet was aiding him. I took an air horn out of my bag, my mom was weird when it came down to protection and maze. I blew the horn and everyone was holding his or her ears. Andy and the mystery guy dropped the silly string cans on the floor.
“What was that for?” Jinxx yelled.
“Well everyone was so loud, and it wasn’t fair that I couldn’t join in on the silly string fight!” I argued. They all shrugged.
“Why do you carry an air horn?” Andy asked.
“Why do you like bat man?” I asked back.
“Touché!” He replied, “Wait how did you know that?” He asked. I pointed out the 4 tattoos on his body.
“The song?” Blade questioned.
“Oh… yeah…” Jake said looking at Andy.
“We needed to practice it with you before we showed you the lair!” He answered.
“Mystery man, name?” Niki asked.
“Matt Good!” He answered proud of himself.
“So the song… Justine could you show Jake and Jinxx the guitar chords?” Andy asked. I nodded my head as I followed them out of the room. We walked to the main venue stage, where they played last night. I sat down with my guitar because I was too lazy to stand. They did the same thing.
“Why are you guys so quiet?” I asked.
“Are we?” Jinxx asked looking at Jake. Jake shrugged.
“So why are you guys in Black Veil Brides?” I asked trying to get to know them better.
“Andy is a great guy to work with, and I get to express my self how ever I want to by doing what ever I want to…” Jinxx answered.
“I do it for the fans, and for myself really. Andy showed me that mother fuckers shouldn’t treat you like shit and get away with it… so it helped me a lot…” Jake answered. It felt almost like an interview, they answered and a long awkward pause came right after. I picked up my guitar and strummed a few chords to try to get it in tune. They picked up theirs and I told them the chords to play in each riff. They understood the tune of the song and after a few tries they played it perfectly. Soon enough Ashley and Niki walked over and sat down.
“It sure sounds nice…” Ashley said with a hint of a southern accent.
“Andy sent us to you…” Niki said handing me her bass. I took it from her hands and tuned it. Ashley grabbed his and did the same thing. As I was teaching it to Ashley, Jinxx and Jake were practicing and Andy was rehearsing the lyrics as he skipped around arm in arm with Matt. We had it down in no time. Andy blindfolded me and Ashley carried me out bridal style.
“If I don’t have to walk, I’m good!” I said not fighting Ashley. They all laughed. I heard CC say something to Beck, but I couldn’t make it out. I was thrown into a vehicle, it was big… it was probably their bus.
“Welcome to the bus of dirty balls!” Matt said taking off my blindfold.
“Why do you call it that?” I asked confused.
“Sometimes when we are on tour we are unable to shower for days at a time…” Jake sighed.
“Off to the studio!” CC yelled as we started moving. Andy took out a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and took a swig before offering it to me. I grabbed it and thanked him, took a swig then passed it back.
“Keep that one, I have more under here…” He said pointing to a huge stash fans got him, a small draw was next to it containing Marblo Reds.
“You like Reds too?” I asked.
“They are my favorite!” Andy replied with a big proud smile on his face.
“So where are you taking me?” I said slightly confused.
“To the recording studio, it’s far so Blade packed a bag for you. You have the bunk over mine!” Ashley said.
“It’s a road trip!” CC yelled. I laughed.
“It’s a good thing fans get me a lot of these, now you don’t have to buy them yourself seeing that Blade didn’t pack money…” Andy said trailing off. I was still holding the pretty much full bottle of Jack Daniels as I zoned out. Jake was snapping his fingers in front of my eyes.
“See Andy! You aren’t the only one who zones out now!” Jinxx laughed. I shook my head back to reality.
“Sorry, I do it a lot…” I said with an apologetic smile.
“Where do you want to eat?” Ashley asked changing the topic.
“Arby’s!” I shouted. They all smiled.
“You are now officially one of us!” Andy yelled. The bus pulled to a stop in front of the first Arby’s we could find. We all ran off the bus and sat down at a table. When the food came there was no room left on the table.
“She knows how to eat!” Jake yelled as we pigged in. I felt like I belonged, and that I wasn’t just some “emo-Elmo” hidden at the back of the class room.
“Back. To. The. Bus!” CC yelled between burps. When we got on the bus I let out a huge burp.
“CC, she beat you at your own game!” Jinxx laughed.
“But… but…” He replied almost broken hearted.
“I can burp the alphabet!” I said. I got into a burping war with CC the guys just staring as we were burping out conversations to each other.
“That is impressive!” Jake said when we were done. I smiled proud of my “talent”.
“Wait, it’s already 7pm?” Ashley yelled.
“Yeah, you have a date or something?” I asked looking at my watch. Everyone just laughed.
“You don’t really know us do you?” Ashley asked. I shook my head.
“You don’t know me either…” I said trailing off.
“Guys we are staying in tonight!” Andy yelled.
“Game night!” CC yelled jumping up and down. We all sat down as Jinxx whipped out his phone.
“What version of truth or dare shall we play?” Ashley asked mischievously.
“PG-13!” Andy yelled, Ashley sighed.
“Come on!” He yelled.
“Ash, we can play it when we are drunk or some shit that we won’t remember…” Jake said slowly. Jinxx set up the app on his phone.
“Ashley you’re first! Truth or Dare!” CC yelled.
“Dare! Always Dare!” He shouted back.
“Put 3 pieces of ice into your under-wear until it melts!” Andy read as he opened the freezer and handed Ashley the ice. Ashley winced at the cold, he held his crotch the whole time.
“Justine your turn!” Jake yelled.
“Um… Truth?” I answered kind of nervous.
“Have you seen a member of the opposite sex naked before?” Andy read aloud.
“Does walking in on your brother as he is showering count?” I asked. They all laughed.
“I guess…” Ashley said once the ice melted. Jinxx pressed the button again. It landed on Jake.
“Dare!” He shouted.
“Wear the opposite sex’s underwear until you next turn.” I yelled tossing an extra pair of underwear at him.
“LACEY!” Ashley yelled staring at it. Andy and I face-palmed. Jake walked to the bathroom and put it on.
“How can you live in these? They are so uncomfortable!” Jake yelled walking out trying to cover his dick. Ashley just smiled.
“I have a box of those under the bed!” He shouted pulling out a box filled with lace underwear. I just stared.
“So you’re a ladies man?” I asked finally piecing it together. Ashley smirked at me.
“Justine again!” He read.
“Dare!” I shouted starting to really have fun.
“Little lady, you now have to strip to your bra and underwear for the rest of the game!” He smirked again. I pulled off my shirt and pants showing my belly ring, and tattoos.
“And a lacey bra to match!” He yelled. Jinxx chose truth and he had to share his first experience kissing someone. Then Andy chose dare and he got the same one that I did.
“Nice Bat man under-wear!” I said pointing out. He smiled and thanked me. Jake changed back into his normal clothes, Ashley was naked for three turns, and CC was pant-less. We all played until we passed out on the floor.
