Inside a Hypocritical Faker

Breath

Ashley

We cleared the school and found that there were two deaths. We started a crucial man hunt for the guy named "Andy". The school cameras caught his face. He seemed to stop caring after he grabbed the girl. I was sitting at my desk back at the station. I had a file with Andy's name on it. It was full of things from his past. He had been arrested for possessions of various drugs, assault, and there was a sheet that had shown he was being thought of as a suspect in a family murder case. I looked closely at that paper. It read:

"At 5:31pm call came in from neighbors saying that there neighbors had been murdered. The only survivor was the only daughter, 6 years old. The daughter said the man had blue eyes, and said her name was Raven. Papers on the child proved that her name had been changed, at parents' will, to Lilly.

The mother was found with a slit throat, tied to a chair. Father was on the ground, heart stabbed. Brother on the ground near the mother, like the father, with same stab.

Daughter keeps repeating, 'the man with blue eyes'."

I lean back in my chair, and run my fingers through my hair. I remember when I was looking at the girl. She seemed so scared, yet fought to seem fine. FINE. That word, I have a strong feeling, is one she says all the time, to cover up her real pain. I pull up the new case file we have dealing with "Lilly/Raven". I pull out a picture her "family" gave us, and trace my fingers over it. God her family. They took the news horribly. They always had the thought that who ever killed her family, was going to finish the job. They said something about a man with blue eyes. Then it hits me, ANDY. He is the man with blue eyes, he killed her real family, he is going to kill Lilly.

Though I don't quite understand Ashley's role in this story, aside from the supposed hero/protagonist. Or am I looking too deep into this?

I hope you update again soon; this is a good story, but take care of yourself and your life first.

I'll miss you amigo
