Escaping Grace

When we finished our set, we gave waves and hurried off the stage, Black Veil Brides waiting for us.
"Where's Bryan?" Vale asked, her guitar hanging off her shoulder. "I was hoping to beat on him a little."
"He's backstage terrorizing the staff," CC informed her, eyes lined with black makeup. "I think he was asking one of the girls about how he should style his hair."
Dear lord.
"Hey, you guys don't go far, okay?" Andy called to all of us. "After our last song we wanna make an announcement."
"What kind?" I asked, but he was already moving towards the stage, and I sighed.
We went back and hung with Bryan and his camera for a while, and a stage hand came to get all of us as the show came to an end. We all shuffled to the front of the curtain as Andy finished Heart of Fire, and he looked over expectantly.
"Okay, okay, you guys, I have an announcement to make!" Andy called, flipping his hair out of his face. The crowd started To quiet, and then he raised a hand, motioning us all on stage.
I stepped over to him, Vale going to stand with CC, Nate, Clarke, and even Bryan (who mostly just moved around so he would have a good camera angle as he was permitted to video this part of the show) arranged themselves accordingly, and all of us looked at Andy expectantly.
He reached over and caught my hand, pulling me to his side. "So, just to clear up any confusion, this is my woman, and has been my woman for some time now. "
He raised our joined hands pointedly, and I glanced at him in confusion. What was he doing? The crowd cheered, and when they settled down he continued.
"And, yes, we are going on tour with Escape from Grace. Hope you guys are gonna be excited to see all of us together!" The crowd cheered even louder this time.
"Andy, what are you doing?" I murmured, and he sent me a grin.
"You'll see."
I hesitated, and he gave my hand another squeeze.
"And all you fuckers know Bryan, right?"
Bryan gave a wave, and the crowd chanted his name for a few moments.
What the hell was Andy doing?
"Anyway," Andy continued, slipping his arm around my shoulder. "Most of you might not know it, but two very important people in this room have a birthday soon."
Oh no.
He'd put his arm around me so I wouldn't escape, not out of affection.
He was trapping me like someone would an animal afraid of loud noises. Oh no.
"So, I want all you guys to do me a favor, and sing happy birthday to Leah and Ashley for me, okay?"
Sweet baby rugrats, this was not okay.
I looked back at Ashley, and he was grinning. He trotted over to stand with us, shirtless with the guitar hanging low against his hips.
Where did his shirts even go?
He threw his free arm around my shoulder, essentially trapping me so I couldn't throw myself off the stage in embarrassment.
They knew me too well.
"On the count of three, we sing!" Andy called to the audience, and even from here I could hear Bryan laughing at the expression on my face as I tried to strain away from between the guys and escape backstage.
"One!"
Noooooo.
"Two!"
Oh sweet god I couldn't escape.
"Three!"
This was mortifying.
"Happy birthday to you, " Andy and everyone else on earth started to sing. "Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, Ashley and Leah, happy birthday to you!"
Ashley laughed, apparently just having an absolute blast. He slipped his arm from my shoulder, and took a few steps away.
I was going to throw Andy off this stage and let him get mauled by fangirls the first chance I had.
Revenge was nigh.
I turned to him, opening my mouth to attack, but Andy pulled me to him and kissed me, smearing my once white shirt with his black paint as he literally wrapped me in his arms and dipped me down like I was some kind of microphone stand.
"Andy!" I couldn't help the giggle, hearing the crowd roar.
"Hey, we gotta make sure they get a good show," he grinned at me, then kissed me again before spinning me back to my feet.
I'm pretty sure this was a show no one would be forgetting any time soon, especially not me.
