Hell - Bent

Kate’s POV:

“I miss you too, sweetie,” I hummed into the speaker piece of my cellphone, balancing my large, no doubt overpriced bag in the other hand.

Andy was stuck at home while I was in New York, hopping from shoot to shoot for a little over a month until I was able to fly back home to LA to be with Andy and Crow. But then he’d be heading out to Warped tour soon, and I still needed to decide whether I would be joining him and the rest of Black Veil Brides for the summer long, North American tour. I had of course, seen pictures and watched interviews along with even listened intently to Aleks’ stories of her time there, but the decision was still held-back on my tongue.

I wanted to go, really, truly badly. But I was also Andy’s new-ish girlfriend, and BVB was known to have tough fans who were usually rather clingy and attaché to their favourite members. I didn’t blame them at all; it was mostly just unnerve stirring in my stomach, the thought of spending an entire summer with Andy, his band, and a whole lot of fans.

Holy hell.

Plus, I wasn’t exactly the type of person you would usually see at Warped tour anyways: being a supermodel and having natural, non-dyed blonde hair along with designer bags and clothes. Some weird instinct just told me that I wouldn’t fit in, but on the other hand, another part of me really just wanted to tell that instinct to shove it.

A really strong part of me.

I mean; I would have lots of fun, touring the country wit my loving boyfriend. It sounded almost too good to be true, and maybe it was.

But perhaps there was a smaller part of me, seeing going to Warped as a sign. I had already dropped out of college and moved in with Andy, so consider that step checked off and very much completed, but by agreeing to attend Warped also meant that we would be together non-stop for an entire summer, another mile-stone I’m sure.

We would essentially be cementing our relationship, agreeing that we were together and in for the long haul, which was what I wanted, right?
