Kate's POV:

Today was the day.

Some girls fret over meeting the boyfriends parents, but I freaked out over meeting his friends. Considering my first impression of them (well Ashley) was them all being sociopaths, I was pretty nervous. Andy must've picked up on my anxiety, as he was refraining from laughing out loud, yet also hugging me. It was all very complicated.

"Babe, why are you so nervous? You've met Ashley already, and he's the worst. You'll be fine!" He assured me yet again.

"I know but-" I realized I had no valid argument, "they're scary!"

He opened his mouth to respond but someone apparently beat him to it.

"Hey! We are not scary at all! Well, maybe CC when he's hyper, but even Ashley isn't as much as a pervert when you learn how much hair product he uses."

I laughed as I came face to face with Jake, the lead guitarist of the band. He smiled at me and hugged me, which I returned quickly. I already decided that I liked him. I met Jinxx next. He was quieter, and seemed a bit more shy, but overall seemed like a generally nice guy. CC was by far the wildest and most rowdy of the bunch, although I figured they all were crazy when performing. Meeting Ashley again was just awkward. The first time I'd ever met him, he came on to me, the following visits accounted for us yelling at each other and him being a creep.

so to say I had an open mind when seeing again was a bit of an understatement.

"It's nice to meet you guys," I said politely with a small smile.

Jake batted away my shy introduction and CC took over. "Don't be shy! Aw, Andy she's so cute when she's scared!"

I resisted the urge to laugh and Andy wrapped me up in his arms once again, "guys, this is my new girlfriend, Katherine. Katie, baby, you already know these guys."

"A real Katie alright," Ash commented, eying my body once again, making me cringe uncomfortably.

Noticing my slight discomfort, Andy tightened his grip an narrowed his eyes at his bassist, "Ash, back off man."

to my surprise, he laughed. "She's a keeper Andy, feisty too."

"Babe?" I called, "where'd you put my tooth brush?"

After meeting Andy's friends at a coffee shop, we retired back to Andy's house (where I was staying for the night) to watch the game and drink beers.

Andy poked his head in the bathroom and smiled, pointing back into his bedroom where my bag was. I blushed sheepishly and quickly dashed into his room to grab it before returning to the living room.

I sat on the arm of the couch beside Andy, leaning into him. He smiled and kissed me hand before returning his attention to the hockey game.

Bored with the ads running across the screen, I glanced through Twitter and Instagram, when something caught my attention. Some very unexpected.

Trending on Twitter was my name.

yet i I had no idea why.

I I got my answer from Instagram.

A fan or something had taken a photo of Andy and I together, but that wasn't the weirdest part. Everyone was commenting on how attractive I was, and I'm not being modest at that. My name was everywhere .

"Woah, holy shit. Guys," Jinxx mumbled, eyes glued to the TV

he had changed the channel to the news in his attempt to evade the advertisements. That's when I saw it.

Headline: new face surfacing the web. But for what reason?
