Katherine's POV:

Despite the cool weather, I was already ready for this game. Dressed in the skimpy, tight, and short cheer uniform, with my hair teased, and my pompoms ready.

I skipped across campus quickly, two cups of coffee in my hands, as I made my way over to Kyle's dorm. When I got there the door was already open, so I simply made myself at home on his unmade bed. He was probably already up, getting ready for the match or something. Kyle's roommate, Jackson, was also nowhere to be seen.

Kyle entered the room in a pair of sweats with a towel slung across his neck. His usual perfectly gelled hair was dripping from excess water, and his toned chest gleaned from his shower.

I smiled when I saw him, and handed him his coffee, pecking his cheek lightly.

"Thanks Kath," he said with a smile, taking a small sip, "excited for the game?"

I nodded excitedly, though inside I felt less then enthused. This was for him, for us, for the school. I couldn't let them down by showing my true feelings. So I chose to hide then with a false smile and bubbly laughter.

"Yup! You guys are going to kick those Trojans asses! My star quarterback."

He grinned and kissed my lips before pulling a tank top over his head. He grabbed his cup once more and grasped my hand in his, dragging me away to the field.

Despite my role as cheerleader, I hated these damn celebratory parties, which were always, always held after a winning game. And considering UCLA's constant winning streak, we had these often.

I sat beside Kyle on a couch in one of the frat houses, a plastic cup full of God knows what in my hand, but I had yet to take a sip. Tonight I think I actually wanted to stay sober. Lets hope I can pull through with that promise.

Sometime in the night, Kyle was pulled away from me by his jock buddies, and he simply laughed and waved at me, promising to be back within an hours time. So in the mean time, I gossiped and danced with my best friend, Jackie.

Jackie was beyond wasted, and kept tripping over her feet, but somehow managed to keep a flirtatious act up. She giggled and twirled around in the crowd, coaxing me to follow her.

I sighed, knowing that with her barely there crop top and short shorts, not to mention the fact that she was trashed, I should follow her. Sadly, I lost sight of her, and bumped into someone else, spilling my drink all over my shirt.

I glared up at the asshole, and frowned at him. He looked way to old to be at a frat party, and didn't even look like a college guy. With his tattoos and long, dark hair. He looked like a rockstar, not a college frat boy.

"Excuse me? Could you like, move?" I asked obnoxiously in my best dumb blonde, whiney voice.

His brown eyes raked up and down my form, and I crossed my arms over my chest when he wouldn't budge. He predatorily licked his lips, and flashed me a seductive smile.

"Did you fucking hear me? move." I snapped, my patience wearing thin.

"Now, now. My apologies to such a beautiful lady, like yourself. Can I get you a drink?" He purred, keeping his seductive attitude and stance.

I rolled my eyes, seriously, this joker thought he stood a chance with me? Damn, these guys were thick.

"How about, no. Now move. I have a boyfriend you know."

"What he doesn't know won't kill him," he breathed, stepping uncomfortably close to me.

"I'm Ashley, so tell me, pretty lady, what's your name?"

I scowled, "you're not seriously thinking you can get me like that? I'm not some whore. Fuck off."

I stormed off into the crowd, the feeling of his eyes on me never wavering.
