Bullied

I went to bed pretty late, but I just didn't get tired. Laying in bed and being nervous is horrible.
So I waited for my tiredness and spent my time with staring out of the window. It looked even more mystic at night. If you see something like that you're confused of your feelings... Excited, scared, curious and fascinated.

But wait... what was that? A weird noise... it sounded a bit familiar.
As I wanted to straighten up my mind put me down again
~No Andy... If you get up now you won't fall asleep the next time. Maybe it was just the wind outside. Keep calm~ I thought and closed my eyes again
But it didn't take long until I heard it once more
"Ok, that's it" I told myself and got up. What the heck was that?
The direction indicated to the hallway. It couldn't have been the wind.
So I went out of my room. Silence. Nobody. Weird...
~Did I dream? ..but it sounded so real~
*sniff*
That was the noise! It came out of Amanda's room - maybe she cried.
I stopped thinking and just opened her door without any warning. She sat all alone on her bed

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked and placed myself beside of her with my arm laying around Mandy's shoulder to comfort her.
"E-everyth-thing's fine" She sobbed
I sighed "Even a blind man would see that there's something wrong"
Amanda didn't answer - she tried to get calm, but she couldn't
"Hey.. little sis..." I tried to make her tell what's going on, but instead of saying something she hugged me and started to cry much more.
"Everything's going to be alright. I promise" I stroked her back a bit
"I d-don't want to live here. ... I want to go back to Jessy" Mandy said
"Amanda, you are such a nice girl. Of course you'll make a lot of other friends"
"You think so?" She seemed to get calm again
"Yes. ...And so does everyone who knows you. ..Please do me a favor and go to sleep now. It's really late" I told her
She nodded and let me off.
As I just wanted to turn the lights off an leave, Amanda interrupted me
"Andy..?" She said
"Yeah?"
"Thank you... I'm going to help you when you're in trouble. ..like a sister does to her brother"
I smiled. That was pretty cute
"Good night" I said still grinning as I left
"Good night... Sleep well.." She answered

Back in my bed I had a look on my watch "2:30AM" I mumbled and sighed
Falling asleep was never that hard again.


"...Andy. It's time to get up now" My mom's voice said
I opened my tired eyes "ugh.. I beg for grace, please let me sleep" and turned around
She laughed when she switched my lights on "Come on. It's your first school day here. Get ready now."
My mother took my bed blanked to tease me
"Moooom" I mouned, but she just place it on the other side of my room before she left
ugh... but after a long war I won the dayly fight against my will to sleep and got up. That day already kicked my ass
I got into the bathroom and brushed my teeth.
~This. Day. Is. Already. Not. Worth. It.~ I thought - and was pretty right
