A Shrine?
Scarlet's POV
I'm all dressed and ready. I have my hair down with light curls, makeup plastered on my face, and I'm waiting on my porch for Andrew. This is the first real date I've been on since Alex proposed.
Andy arrives and I jump into his car.
"You look beautiful." He says causing me to blush.
"You don't look half bad yourself." I say looking at his black three piece suit.
"Thanks." We start to drive down to the restaurant.
"I'm surprised Ella wanted to have dinner with me."
"Why wouldn't she?"
"Well the first time we met at Jinxx's, she didn't say a word to me and just whispered with Sammi."
"Ella's just a little shy at first, but trust me, she likes you or we wouldn't be going to dinner with them. So why did you choose for me to go with you instead of Alex?"
"He hasn't been around this week, and the times you were around I was happy."
"Makes sense, maybe soon you'll open the envelope."
"Maybe." We pull up to the restaurant and park the car. Andy opens the door for me and holds my hand as we walk in.
"We're apart of the Cole Party." Andy says to the hostess. She nods and leads us to Jake and Ella.
"Why didn't they put it under Jake's last name?" I ask.
"Think about it, do you want to be apart of the Pitts Party?" We both laugh as we sit down.
"What's so funny?" Jake asks.
"Oh nothing." I say.
"Scarlet, I'm surprised you didn't bring your husband." Ella says, I didn't know she was British.
"Oh I'm not surprised at all. So are you two back together?" Jake asks.
"That depends on whether she'll take me." Andy says.
"I'm kinda married right now, so I'm not sure. Andy did you even get Juliet to sign your divorce papers?" I ask.
"Haven't exactly gotten around to it. Whenever Jules finds out I'm within a mile radius of her, she runs away." Andy says.
"Yeah I had lunch with her last week, she hates your guts and said if she sees you she'd shoot you." Ella says.
"Seems like her, she keeps making threats like that, no wonder she got put in jail for murder." Andy says.
"So to answer your question Jake, I'll get a divorce from Alex for Andy, if he gets a divorce from Juliet first." I say crossing my arms.
"The girl has a point." Jake says.
"I will if I can even get in the same room as her." Andy says.
"I think I can help you with that." Ella says. "Next Saturday I'll get Juliet to meet me at a motel, I'll tell her it's a girls weekend. Then I'll call you up and you can ask her to sign the papers."
"Thanks Posh Spice, you're the best." Andy says and Ella gives him the death glare as Jake and I laugh.
"So Jessica and Johnnie get along very well." I say.
"They do, I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but Jess has a little crush on Johnnie." Ella says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah she was hoping he'd ask her to the fall formal." She says.
"I'll ask John if he likes her." I say.
"Just don't tell him that Jess likes him, she told me to keep it to myself." She says.
"Scar, can we tell them?" Andy asks.
"What? That Amy and Johnnie are your kids Andy?" Jake asks, we both nod. "We already know that just by looking at the kids, I'm surprised Alex doesn't know."
"Same, but he just says they get my looks, which is weird because Amy's a natural blonde." I say.
"Yeah Andy used to have blonde hair." Jake says.
"You should really see some old pictures of Andy and his Batman shrine." Ella says giggling.
"A Batman shrine?" I ask him.
"It's not a shrine I just have really liked Batman since I was a kid so I collected a lot of Batman related items." Andy says and I giggle.
"Oh and here's a picture of Andy as a teen. What was it that Danny said to you again?" Jake asks Andy, handing me his phone to look at the picture.
"Okay so we were talking to our friend Bryan and he asked Danny what he hated about me. Danny said "He dresses like a right fag. God, look at him is he white or is he black? Nobody knows." Of course he was joking. Back then I like covered myself in body paint." Andy says and I giggle. "You laughing at me?"
"Yeah, cause you were so adorable." I say.
"And Jake you used to dress like that too." Andy says.
"That's true." Jake says.
The rest of the dinner goes amazingly, and then Andy drops me off at home.
"So I guess this is goodnight." He says as we walk up to the door.
"Does the night have to end?" I ask.
"In truth no, but you have to go to sleep."
"I'd rather fall asleep in your bed."
"Well you could, but you care too much about your kids and you have a relationship with Alex that has lasted more than fourteen years, so you're afraid of losing him not as lover but as a friend."
"Is that why you had a hard time giving up Juliet at the beginning of our relationship?"
"Yeah but now she hates me so there's nothing I can really do."
"Well you did frame her for murder."
"But she got out and now she's recording a new album, I don't see any harm." I laugh.
"Goodnight Andy." I kiss his cheek.
"Not on the lips?"
"We're in front of my house that contains my kids and husband."
"You're right, goodnight." He kisses my forehead and walks back to his car. Soon he's gone.
I walk into my house and go straight upstairs. I check the time to see it's 11:36pm, why is it so quiet? Usually everyone's up and about at this time on a weekend. I knock on Amy's door, she's listening to music in her earbuds. I get her attention and she turns off her music.
"How was your night?" She asks.
"Great actually; where's Johnnie and your dad?" I ask.
"They went to the movies, probably won't be back till midnight."
"Thanks." I walk away.
"Wait mom!" I turn around and walk back to her door.
"What's up?"
"Is Alex our real dad?" Oh here we go again!
