-Ashley pov- "Ashley?" Laci asks weakly. "Yes my beautiful rose?" "Just checking." She sighs. She has been waking up about every fifteen minutes. I press the button to call tje nurse because that's what they told me to do when she woke up. "What's up sugar?" The nurse asks when she comes in. Laci's eyes open again. "Hi." "Aw you're awake again? Poor dear. That's the fourth time in an hour and I can't give you more meds." She givrs me a look. "Would you sleep better if you had a cuddle buddy?" She asks Laci. "A cuddle buddy?" "Just mind her head and don't get tangled up in the IV." And with that she leaves. "Do you want me to sleep with you?" I imquire. "I don't want to trouble you." "You didn't answer my questiin Rose." I state. She nods. "Alright, come here Hun." I climb into the bed and pull her to my chest. "You smell really good." She sighs. "Thanks." I chuckle. I rub the sopt spot on her back and feel her melt into me. "Good night my love." I whisper into her hair. -Laci pov- I wake up at four a.m. in Ashley's arms. I could stay here for the rest of my life. "Good morning sweetheart." The nurse says when she walks in. "How'd you sleep?" "Fine I guess." "If you don't mind me asking, are you two a thing?" "No." I force a laugh but it hurts. "No, je has a girlfriemd." "Well from wht I saw, he is way more interested in you than this girlfriend of his." She smiles. "I highly doubt that." "Well who is he with right now?" She smirks. "When you two get married I excpect am imvitation." And with that she leaves.
