Ashley pov

We made Ronnie go take a break about a half hour ago. Right now it's just me and Rose. Her face is all bruised, and cut up, and there is an IV in her arm. I rub my thumb across her hand. I'm numb. She shifts a little and her eyes flutter open

Laci pov

I open my eyes and see an all white room. My head hurts so bad, and so does my stomach. "Rose." Ashley sighs.

"Ashley?" my voice is really tired and weak.

"How are you feeling?" He asks gently.

"I'm fine." I lie.

"Rose..." He says firmly.

"Everything really, really hurts." I sigh.

"I know." He is drawing circles on my hand with his thumb.

"I want to go back to sleep."

"No one's stopping you." He smiles.

"But you'll leave again." My voice catches.

"No I won't. I'll be here when you wake up." I nod and he kisses my head. My eyes droop closed. "I love you Annalyse."
