We walked for a while longer, just chatting about random things. "What do you mean you don't like peanut butter?!" Ashley exclaims.
"I mean peanut butter is poisonous substance that does not need to exist." I state matter-of-factly.
"There's got to be something wrong with you. I mean what kind of monster hates peanut butter?'
"The Laci kind of monster obviously." I smirk.
"Huugh.. What am I to do about this Laci-monster....." He sighs.
"I don't know but you better stop it soon before it breeds and spreads it's peanut-butter-hating gene."
"Well as much as I love peanut butter I wouldn't mind helping the Laci-monster spread the peanut-butter-hating gene." he winks. My god he is so freaking sexy!!
I roll my eyes and smile,"Back off Purdy boy."
He wraps his arm around my waist, "Now now now let's not be hasty. I will take you, just not tonight." He says right into my ear sending shivers up my spine.
Two can play that game. "In your dreams cowboy." I whisper seductively, licking him from the soft spot under his jaw to his ear.
"Now you're just teasing me." he pouts.
"That was the plan." I smirk.
"Oh look where we are." he states.
I look around and see that we are on the boardwalk. Even though it's pitch black I can still see the ocean and the beautiful waves as they crash to the shore. "This is my favorite part of L.A." I sigh.
"Want to know what mine is?"
"What?" He brings his lips to mine very softly causing me to break out in goosebumps. "You." he says against my lips. I roll my eyes and he chuckles. I can feel the low rumble in his chest. "Come on we should head back before it gets light out." He holds out his hand and I take it.

When we get back to my apartment I look at the clock on the wall, 4:30. Holy crap we were gone for a while. "Something wrong?" Ashley asks.
"No I just didn't realize how late it was." I shrug.
"Oh shit you're right. come on lets get some sleep." He says Placing his hand on the small of my back, guiding me to my room.
"Sleep or sleep." I inquire.
"Just sleep Rose. I told you I wouldn't so anything tonight."
"Rose?"
"Yeah, you're my wild Irish rose." he smiles. My heart skips a beat. "Where is your blanket?"
"Oh I didn't have enough blankets and I'm an insomniac so I figured since I'm not going to sleep anyway one of you can have it." I say putting my hand on the back of my neck.
"Well you're defiantly going to need that blanket tonight. I'll be right back." He kisses my forehead and walks out my bedroom door. I walk over to my dresser and put on some sweats to sleep in and leave my slayer shirt.
"Hey I know this is a strange question and I think I already know the answer but do you have anything I can sleep in?" Ashley inquires as he walks through the door carrying my dark purple comforter.
"Actually I do. Ronnie keeps some clothes here because he spends the night a lot. Check the bottom drawer." I say pointing to my dresser and taking the comforter away.
He opens the drawer and pulls out black basket ball shorts. "Perfect." He says, "Do you mind if I don't wear a shirt?"
"I would actually prefer it if you didn't." I smirk.
This time he was the one to roll his eyes. "Alright Rose lets get some sleep." He smiles kissing my forehead and crawling into my bed. Ashley Purdy? In my bed? Oh god I hope I have enough self control to make it through the night.
